Bredenbeck’s Bakery is a cake business in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The original Bredenbeck’s was opened in 1889 in Northern Liberties by an immigrant baker from Bavaria. Their success allowed them to open stores in Mayfair, Germantown, and Mt. Airy and in 1954 they sold the business to two longtime employees, Walter and Otto Haug. Walter Haug’s daughter, Karen, went on to open the current location in Philadelphia. She expanded into an ice cream parlor and now ships sweet treats all across the United States.
They design and create custom cakes for your wedding of any size that coordinate with your wedding theme, style and colors. They can make cake pops, cookies, cupcakes, groom’s cakes, cakes, croquembouches, pastries and dessert buffets. They offer consultations, private tastings, delivery, and setup. They have a wide variety of flavors, fillings and icings and can create custom flavors to your taste. They accommodate dietary needs including diabetic, lactose- and gluten-free. They create stunning cakes that can feature flowers, lace, heirlooms, or any other items you wish to incorporate.

Working with Bredenbeck's was incredibly easy and simple. We had a great time at our tasting and felt so supported and guided in making decisions about our cake and favors. Our cake was the star of our reception and was one of the highlights of our day. We also loved the heart LOVE cookies we purchases for our wedding favors. The guests love them!Sent on 10/13/2019
Bredenbeck's Bakery's reply:So glad both the favors and cake turned out how you wanted them. We are huge fans of edible favors, although we might be bias! So happy for you both Carolyn, and cheers to many happy years to come.

Bredenbeck's Bakery's reply:Thanks so much for the kind words Felicia, and we are so excited to have you come in for a tasting. Be sure to come hungry!
I love Brendenbeck's Bakery! Their storefront in Chestnut Hill is super cute and their cakes and baked goods are delicious! They even gave us a fresh cake to pick up on our 1 year anniversary which was so much better than eating a 1-year-old frozen cake :)
All we can say is YUM, YUM, YUM!!! These guys know what they are doing and make some of the most delicious desserts we have ever tasted! Not too mention visually beautiful and so professional to work with!!!
