Delicious Food and Wonderful Staff!

Urban Cowboy was one of the required options of caterers at our venue. They did an incredible job setting up the reception space and had we been outside for the ceremony, they also would have set up the chairs. We did a single tasting with Chris and we were so happy with the options and choices. There was one menu item we weren't able to taste, but we wanted it on our menu and it was delicious! Short rib stroganoff - you cannot go wrong! All of our guests said they really enjoyed the food and loved the grazing table and passed appetizers during cocktail hour.

They also bartended for us and we came up with our signature cocktail menu and made sure to let them know what ingredients were needed and they pulled through! All of the cocktails were amazing and our guests loved sipping on them throughout the evening.

Chris was super professional and constantly in communication with us! We were very pleased with everything he provided.

Best Caterer!

I cannot express enough how amazing Chris Trapani and his team were catering my wedding a few weeks ago. First and foremost, his food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! Having to plan during a global pandemic was not easy, and I know he was thrown a lot of curve balls, but we immediately trusted his creative direction and put faith into him creating a wonderful meal. Which he knocked out of the park. He was so easy to work with and he had a lot of patience dealing with an emotional bride and I cannot thank him enough. Our guests have repeatedly told us how wonderful the food was, but how there was not waiting. Chris and his team were quick to refill and never left anyone disappointed. I highly recommend Urban Cowboy Catering and Chris for any of your catering needs.

Unbelievably excellent experience all the way through

I don’t know if it’s possible to put into words how much I adore Chris and his team. From the second we spoke on the phone to the last bite of food on my plate, working with Chris was an absolute joy. He is the most helpful and knowledgable vendor I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. He was an excellent communicator and sorted through my chaotic last few weeks with ease. The appetizers, charcuterie spread and taco bar were absolute hits. Everyone I spoke to was just raving about the food and presentation. I would work with Chris and his team again in a heartbeat. Great to Work With!

Chris was recommended to us by a friend whom used him for their wedding. They had nothing but wonderful things to say, and after working with Chris, I must agree. We hired Chris and his food truck for our rehearsal dinner at Deep Eddy Vodka Distillery. He was so prompt with his responses and very clear on what he could offer, as well as giving us all necessary details. We chose to serve tacos only, and everyone who partook, talked about how delicious the food was, and how neat it was to have that kind of experience at our rehearsal dinner. Thank you Chris for making the process so easy, and for getting back to me on each and every question I had. Your food was beyond delicious, and I know that if we had not already booked our wedding caterer, you would have been the perfect choice.

We hired Chris and his team at Urban Cowboy for our wedding this past October. From start of communication (last year) up until my freaking out a week before the wedding, they were there to answer my emails and calls. He even talked to me the night before when they were at another event to give me some bar advice.
We did a family style dinner with the most amazing fried sriracha chicken ever and brisket which some of my family said was the best they have ever had. We had lemon scented potatoes and grilled apsaragus which were cooked on site as well, everything was great. For cocktail hour they took care of Hors Douevres and gave us a free tapas station too!
The staff were all very nice and always working. They even helped with chairs although we didn't know they needed to be moved until the day of. But they jumped in and moved them for us without question!
Love them and am so glad they were our caterer.

The Urban Cowboy Food Truck was amazing. We had them serve our rehearsal dinner and everything was spot. They served appetizers and four tacos which were a hit. The braised short rib were the most popular but the all the food was gone at the end of the evening. Chris was professional and on time and I we can’t fully express how awesome the experience was.

Chris was amazing! The food came out so good for our wedding this past week, on June 24th, 2016. We had a wonderful menu of veggie ceviche & chicken/brie/endive cups, fantastic kale salad, sriracha & honey fried chicken paired with cilantro rice, and beef brisket with beer mac'n cheese, and a few stuffed avocados for my vegan/veggie family members. Chris was great to work with, and easily made the accommodations I requested for my veggie family members. We live in California, and we chose Urban Cowboy without trying it, because the reviews were so good. We were able to visit in March and try the food and we were blown away! I'm so glad we made the decision to go with Chris. We had no issues, and all our guests raved about the food!

I cannot speak highly enough of Chris and his team at Urban Cowboy. My husband (!) and I spoke to multiple catering services before making a decision and none were so flexible and caring as Chris. We absolutely made the correct decision! Chris worked with our tight budget to create a delicious menu that got compliments all night, but what was most impressive to me was how much he genuinely cared about making our wedding wonderful and stress-free. We had an email chain about 40 messages long (if that shows you his patience level, haha!) because he took the time to answer all of my questions and address any concerns. I was learning as I planned my wedding and Chris steered me straight the entire time. He and his team also went above and beyond and cleared off all of our wedding tables at the end of the night, which I had been planning to do myself.

Chris was absolutely amazing! My husband and I wanted a non-traditional spread, but something that represents our love for Austin. We decided on a taco bar along with a queso fundito bar! It was perfect and all the guests really enjoyed the food! The mini beef wellingtons, root vegetables were out of this world too. He was more than accommodating in multiple aspects and very generous - always trying to look out for our budget (he didn't charge for cake cutting service along with some other things). My husband couldn't make the tasting, but he made him a to-go plate to be sure that he enjoyed everything as well. Would definitely recommend urban cowboy!

Nothing but a 5 star review and total satisfaction!! Chris was so kind and patient during my 12+ month wedding planning process. Not only is Chris extremely professional, but he is absolutely accommodating and creative as well. Chris catered my rehearsal dinner at Memory Lane Event Center in Dripping Springs (with his food truck) and I was able to have some items on there that he didn't have on his original menu. He also catered my wedding of 160 people and our guests raved about the food. If you want great service and awesome food, please book Chris! His pulled pork tacos and siracha chicken are out of this world :) Thanks again Chris, I'm glad we got to spend our special day with you.
