Words aren't enough to describe how amazing Stephanie is! When I tell you EVERYONE sobbed during our ceremony, I'm not kidding. So many guests told me after that is was the most romantic, heartfelt, sentimental wedding ceremony they had ever seen. My husband and I talked to soooo many different officiants but Stephanie stood out to us and honestly, it was the best wedding decision we could have made. Prior to the actual ceremony, unforeseen circumstances came up and we decided to get legally married in advance. Stephanie was able to make that happen last minute and took care of all of the paperwork. For our "real" ceremony, Stephanie crafted up the most beautiful speech based on our questionnaire responses. Many of the guests assumed she was a family member or friend because she seemed to know us so well. My husband and I figured that the ceremony wouldn't be super emotional for us since we had already been legally married and did a first-look before the wedding. Oh, how wrong we were! She added in perfectly timed moments of levity and delivered it in such a sincere way, it was magical. The happiest and most emotional moment of my life. After the reception, guests couldn't stop talking about the ceremony. It was incredibly memorable and the highlight of the night. Thank you Stephanie!!!

Finding an officiant was the toughest part of our vendor search! Our vision was a unique secular wedding ceremony: something that was profound, but not too serious. Upbeat and sweet, but not overly saccharine. And we wanted it to feel personal and true to our story as a couple who has been together for 10+ years. It was a tough balance to strike, but when we met with Stephanie at Unfiltered Weddings, we knew she could do it. And she seriously knocked it out of the park!
My husband and I both write professionally, so we went a little over-the-top on our vows. We also finished them at the last minute. Stephanie was able to modify the ceremony at the last minute to accommodate our long vows, and she did it seamlessly.

Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the ceremony. Many of them thought Stephanie was a personal friend of ours based on how well the ceremony captured our personalities and unique quirks as people – they were shocked to find out that we hired her!

Stephanie’s ceremony meant so much to us, especially considering how long we had waited for the big day after multiple pandemic delays. We’re looking into printing parts of the ceremony and framing them around our home, because her words touched our hearts so deeply. We cannot recommend Unfiltered Weddings highly enough for any wedding ceremony.

I can’t recommend Stephanie enough. She wrote the most beautiful ceremony for my husband and I. Neither of us had a whole lot of ideas on what we wanted quotes or poetry-wise, except a mutual love for The Princess Bride. She snuck in two references that had us beaming.

My sister-in-law commented that it was so nice of my friend to perform the wedding. When I told her I only spoke with Stephanie a few times prior to the ceremony she was floored. “She talked about you two like she knew you your whole lives.” The wedding felt so personal and intimate. My husband, I met with Stephanie, and from her infectious energy, we knew that she was a wonderful fit for us. Together, we spoke about what we envisioned our service to look like. She has such a wonderful way with words and I loved hearing about what she was envisioning. We filled out a survey (which was a lot of fun!) and she was able to tell more of our love story. Our wedding was scheduled for April 2020, at the height of covid and it was canceled. Luckily for us, Stephanie's support and flexibility helped us tie the knot during this time. My husband, I got married on the Greenpoint pier with Stephanie and she blew us away. It was spot on. Lucky for us, in Sept of 2021, my husband and I were able to gather family and friends for a wedding dinner and Stephanie came to "renew" our vows. She adjusted our ceremony to fit in all of the things that have happened to us in the past year. Our family and friends were raving about her and It was extremely special. Stephanie will work to understand you as a couple as well as your family dynamic. We highly recommend! 

We are SO happy we hired Stephanie for our ceremony. From the beginning, she sent us a detailed survey to fill out and then met with us. Then, she put together a draft of a ceremony and had us review it. We were floored with how she was able to capture us and capture our personalities and relationship based on brief interactions. Beautiful and loving speech written by Stephanie. She listened to what we felt for each other and put it into a beautiful love story. Her delivery in her speech was flawless and her vocals soothing. She was such a huge asset to our a big day!

Stephanie!!! My mom had to put on her sunglasses because she couldn't stop crying and didn't want to ruin our photos with her puffy eyes. Ivo and I had a BEAUTIFUL wedding ceremony.
