Eva was FABULOUS and TOP NOTCH to work with to plan the details for our private wedding ceremony in New York City on a recent vacation! My fiancé and I, already planning to have a mini vacation to NYC, opted to also elope! As a couple residing in another state over 600 miles away, Eva helped make our adventure possible offering suggestions for a venue for just the two of us that had a “wow NYC” scenery, an photographer to capture our moment who was also our witness, and writing the BEAUTIFUL words that defined all the things we mean to one another as we exchanged our vows. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and I am so grateful God put Eva in our path. We ultimately married in BEAUTIFUL Central Park at Summerhouse at the Dene aka A Treehouse for Dreaming. This intimate setting made us feel like we weren’t even in the city! Eva chose well for us as if she had known us our whole lives. She was communicative throughout the process prior to our arrival and after we arrived in NYC. Professional - taking care of all of the details for submitting the license to the state and getting them returned to us. Above all, she was personable and made us feel so very comfortable. It meant so much to both my husband and I. We look forward to keeping her up to date with anniversaries to come. It was such a pleasure and honor to meet Eva.

We could not have been happier with Eva as our officiant. Right from the beginning, she took the time to get to know us, asked loads of questions, and was genuinely curious and interested in us. It was like talking to an old friend. Her enthusiasm for her work is obvious, and she made the day so special. She took our random ideas and thoughts, and created a magical ceremony that was so thoughtful. Could not recommend her highly enough.

Eva is a perfect officiant for us. She is willing to tailor the script along with our backgrounds and culture and can update the plan to accommodate changes from us. I can tell from the script she, that she must done lots of investigation in the backgrounds. It was a fascinating wedding experience. 10/10 recommend!

Eva married us in Central Park almost two weeks ago. We didn't give her very much time to prepare but Eva did an amazing job of ensuring that our service was personal and uplifting. She wrote a beautiful verse to add to the poem that we had selected, and it brought the house down (e.g. lots of happy tears). From the get-go, Eva was responsive and thoughtful and we are so happy that she officiated on our special day. Would 1,000% recommend!

We first enlisted the help of Eva back in 2024 when we first started planning our elopement from the UK to NYC for our 2025 wedding. From the very first reach out to Eva she responded quickly and warmly and for me - Karen (the bride) was a warm reassurance. We had a video chat / introduction with Eva and she offered her expertise in helping us with our venue choice and what it entailed. From that first video call we both knew that Eva was the perfect officiant so confirmed our date with her and it was booked. Eva sent us both a questionnaire asking us things like “tell our story, how we met, the proposal and what we both wanted for our marriage” the questions were not intrusive but purely for her to get to know a little about us both and for her to use what we told her in writing, the perfect ceremony. Our song choice and our own vows were written. Eva continued to communicate with us both in the lead to our wedding day, explaining what we needed to do in obtaining our park permit (we wanted to get married in Wagner Cove - Central Park) and to ensure we had the cove to ourselves for the ceremony Eva explained that we needed this. Our wedding date was Thursday May 15th 2025, we met up with Eva the day before and she talked us through the ceremony. We could not recommend her services enough! She was perfect! If you are reading this review and wondering where to start we would suggest reaching out to Eva, your day will be perfect. We both feel we have a friend for life, we are planning on catching up with her and her husband next year when we go back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.

We knew right away we wanted Eva to marry us. On our first FaceTime call, her warm and comforting energy instantly put us at ease and speaking to her felt more like speaking to a familiar friend. We had lots of “homework” in preparation for our wedding from all of our vendors, but one piece we loved working on was her questionnaire about our love story. It was a gleeful reminder that Eva meticulously laced into our ceremony script from inside jokes to anecdotes we’d written about the other to modern religious references. She captured us so aptly and left our guests teary eyed. Many wanted to know where we’d found her! The level of care and detail she puts into her work is something special. We couldn’t recommend Eva more.

Many thanks for officiating at Eve and Joes’ wedding at the glorious Salmagundi Club. You are the best Celebrant I have witnessed in a church or civil wedding (and I’m 64!).

Leading the ceremony, you got the couple to do the talking. Your questionnaire teased out an amazing amount about what each one loves about the other. Most tellingly, Eve loves that Joe is a gentleman. I knew that but not that he was specifically coached by his mother (recently deceased). That was very moving. A seemingly small but significant fact, Joe always meets Eve from the station when he can.

There was a technical hitch with the music, you kept Joe steady, the atmosphere relaxed and you went to tell the waiting bride what was going on. On a personal note, I thought your outfit was demure, conveyed authority and had a playful, subtle sparkle on your matching boots!

So many thanks for contributing to a wonderful event in magnificent surroundings with a truly beautiful couple.

We couldn’t have asked for any more from Eva on our wedding day. We found her at incredibly short notice (less than 6 weeks) and booked her for our wedding 2 days after Christmas and she couldn’t have been more accommodating. Eva was professional but it felt like we’d known her for years, catered to exactly what we wanted and couldn’t have made it more personal. All of our family remarked on how special and how “us” the ceremony was, she honestly went above and beyond all expectations. As a couple that were eloping to NYC, Eva took away all the stress of getting married in a new place at a venue we hadn’t even visited, and offered more than expected in providing an early script so that our non-English speaking family could have a translation in advance of the ceremony. Eva was 11/10 and not that we will ever be getting married again (!!) but if we were, we would 100% want Eva for our ceremony. Couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you Eva!!

We got real lucky in having her as our offfciator. She was extremely patient (we were more than 40 mins late for our ceremony due to traffic), she did an excellent job marrying us, was professional, had a great attitude and accommodated the way we wanted the ceremony held.

The secret wedding! Having met Eva through Nicki our photographer I went from enquiry to full on life journey. To set the scene in conjunction with Eva and Nicki I organised and planned a full on secret wedding that the bride didn’t even know was happening! in brief I personally went on a journey from never getting married again and 23 years of cohabiting to sharing my life and thoughts with Eva. Eva I discover very quickly is a beautiful soul and was there to support and share the journey I had very suddenly embarked on. Eva listened and absorbed with absolute care and compassion helping me to lower my defences and embrace the next step. I and now WE are so thankful for her support and discretion in all of our arrangements. A lovely yet unorthodox and playful ceremony that went like clock work. Thank you Eva and Nicki for pulling off the secret magical wedding of our lifetimes. A magical experience from start to finish.
