Eva was FABULOUS and TOP NOTCH to work with to plan the details for our private wedding ceremony in New York City on a recent vacation! My fiancé and I, already planning to have a mini vacation to NYC, opted to also elope! As a couple residing in another state over 600 miles away, Eva helped make our adventure possible offering suggestions for a venue for just the two of us that had a “wow NYC” scenery, an photographer to capture our moment who was also our witness, and writing the BEAUTIFUL words that defined all the things we mean to one another as we exchanged our vows. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and I am so grateful God put Eva in our path. We ultimately married in BEAUTIFUL Central Park at Summerhouse at the Dene aka A Treehouse for Dreaming. This intimate setting made us feel like we weren’t even in the city! Eva chose well for us as if she had known us our whole lives. She was communicative throughout the process prior to our arrival and after we arrived in NYC. Professional - taking care of all of the details for submitting the license to the state and getting them returned to us. Above all, she was personable and made us feel so very comfortable. Creating special memories
Eva married us in Central Park almost two weeks ago. We didn't give her very much time to prepare but Eva did an amazing job of ensuring that our service was personal and uplifting. She wrote a beautiful verse to add to the poem that we had selected, and it brought the house down (e.g. lots of happy tears). From the get-go, Eva was responsive and thoughtful and we are so happy that she officiated on our special day. Would 1,000% recommend!Eva Engman Officiant's reply:

We first enlisted the help of Eva back in 2024 when we first started planning our elopement from the UK to NYC for our 2025 wedding. From the very first reach out to Eva she responded quickly and warmly and for me - Karen (the bride) was a warm reassurance. We had a video chat / introduction with Eva and she offered her expertise in helping us with our venue choice and what it entailed. From that first video call we both knew that Eva was the perfect officiant so confirmed our date with her and it was booked. Eva sent us both a questionnaire asking us things like “tell our story, how we met, the proposal and what we both wanted for our marriage” the questions were not intrusive but purely for her to get to know a little about us both and for her to use what we told her in writing, the perfect ceremony. Our song choice and our own vows were written. Eva continued to communicate with us both in the lead to our wedding day, explaining what we needed to do in obtaining our park permit (we wanted to get married in Wagner Cove - Central Park) and to ensure we had the cove to ourselves for the ceremony Eva explained that we needed this. Our wedding date was Thursday May 15th 2025, we met up with Eva the day before and she talked us through the ceremony. We could not recommend her services enough! She was perfect! If you are reading this review and wondering where to start we would suggest reaching out to Eva, your day will be perfect. We both feel we have a friend for life, we are planning on catching up with her and her husband next year when we go back to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.Eva Engman Officiant's reply:

We knew right away we wanted Eva to marry us. On our first FaceTime call, her warm and comforting energy instantly put us at ease and speaking to her felt more like speaking to a familiar friend. We had lots of “homework” in preparation for our wedding from all of our vendors, but one piece we loved working on was her questionnaire about our love story. It was a gleeful reminder that Eva meticulously laced into our ceremony script from inside jokes to anecdotes we’d written about the other to modern religious references. She captured us so aptly and left our guests teary eyed. Many wanted to know where we’d found her! The level of care and detail she puts into her work is something special. Absolutely perfect!
We couldn’t have asked for any more from Eva on our wedding day. We found her at incredibly short notice (less than 6 weeks) and booked her for our wedding 2 days after Christmas and she couldn’t have been more accommodating. Eva was professional but it felt like we’d known her for years, catered to exactly what we wanted and couldn’t have made it more personal. All of our family remarked on how special and how “us” the ceremony was, she honestly went above and beyond all expectations. As a couple that were eloping to NYC, Eva took away all the stress of getting married in a new place at a venue we hadn’t even visited, and offered more than expected in providing an early script so that our non-English speaking family could have a translation in advance of the ceremony. Eva was 11/10 and not that we will ever be getting married again (!!) but if we were, we would 100% want Eva for our ceremony. Couldn’t recommend her more. My (now) husband and I came across Eva on one of the wedding sites that listed officiant recommendations and of the profiles we viewed, identified most with Eva's. We reached out inquiring and she promptly scheduled a FaceTime with us to meet face to face and get to know one another. From the first call we knew we were booking with Eva, she is so passionate about celebrating love, and celebrating however each couple wants to have their ceremony. She was completely flexible with the run of the ceremony, and made suggestions and helped us pick out the perfect items and speaking parts we wanted to include. She attended our rehearsal and even rescheduled a conflicting personal matter to ensure she could be there to rehearse the wedding with us. She even spent some time with our pup that was in the wedding right after the ceremony so all of us could have a moment without puppy chaos. :) I can't recommend Eva enough! She is professional, while still having a very kind personality that brings brightness to your special day. -

Eva from start to finish was wonderful. When we met over a zoom call I could immediately feel her warm energy and she listened to everything we were interested in and made the ceremony script exactly what we were looking for. My wife and I had a city ceremony to take care of the legal side before our big wedding in Puerto Rico and in some ways, I’m not sure the big wedding can compete with how amazing this day went. Eva helped me with location since the Supreme Court stairs were blocked off, she found a place nearby that was just as beautiful and exactly what we wanted, and she took photos of us with our families that came as well. Best decision we could have made!
Aside from marrying my husband having Eva as our officiant was the best decision we could have made! We decided to elope with short notice and she made herself available to us, guided us through the process (marriage license, certificate.. etc) and made sure we had the sweetest, most personal ceremony we could have ever had. Bonus!- my now husband absolutely loves Lebron James and Drake just as much as he loves me and she was sure to include a quote and lyric from them in our ceremony- It was amazing. My husband loves to mention that part of our ceremony to his friends and its hysterical! I'm so glad we went with her and would recommend her to anyone who's looking for a ceremony that truly expresses your love for each other in such a personal warm way.Eva Engman Officiant's reply:

Do not look further - Eva is the best officiant there is!
Eva is extremely professional and went above and beyond in ways we could not have even imagined. She continuously checked in with us throughout the process to ensure the final ceremony will be exactly as we wish. On the Big day, she arrived very early, helped us with what whatever needed to be done the day of, made an effort to get to know our guests, and had done a ton of research to incorporate some of our cultural values into the ceremony and her speech.
The ceremony was beyond anything we could have ever imagined! Her speech was so beautiful, moving, thought out, and tailored exactly to us! She had us answer questions about each other and worked that into her speech in the best way possible!
She truly made the ceremony an unforgettable experience! She has a peaceful and lovely energy about her that added to our day and filled any voids that might have existed. I cannot recommend her enough!Eva Engman Officiant's reply:

As we’re in the UK and Eva is in the US, we FaceTimed to chat face to face, well ahead of time which was lovely. She sent us both individual questionnaires which asked lots of things about our relationship, family lives, hobbies, work, home etc which we filled in separately and didn’t show each other our answers. All of our answers were used to tailor make our ceremony, which was absolutely perfect and brought a tear to both our eyes (my husband NEVER cries 😂).
Living in another country and trusting strangers to create your wedding was sometimes nerve wracking but Eva genuinely calmed our nerves and we trusted her completely. Eva went above and beyond on our wedding day, helping me with my hair and setting up the perfect spot in the bar for our vows, as well as coming up with ideas for photos as there was a huge storm and all our ideas for photos outside went down the pan.

Our experience with Eva was simply magic from start to finish.
We started communicating via email just a few months short of our elopement, and we were travelling at the time so we weren't readily available to communicate but when we were Eva made the time for us, inspite of time differences and the like.
We built a great rapport over the months, and we were welcomed to NYC with a meet and greet with Eva over some lovely wine and jazz, as well as many suggestions on how we could use our time in NYC wisely as this was our first visit.
We chose for a no-frills no fuss ceremony, however with the attention to detail that Eva put into our ceremony it certainly didn't feel like it. It was very personal and most importantly very us.

We were looking for an officiant who could conduct a ceremony for our initimate wedding at short notice. We found Eva by chance and were neverous initially, but after a Facetime session with her, we knew we were onto a winner.
Eva came to our apartment in Lower Manhattan to conduct our ceremony alongside immediate family and it couldn't have been more perfect. Using answers from a questionnaire she'd asked each of us to do, she tailored the ceremony and vows to our relationship and it made the occasion truly unforgettable. She was also a hit with our families which is a plus!

Absolute Perfection
I found Eva after having my previous officiant drop out a month prior to the wedding day. It was such luck that we were able to snag her on such short notice! From the very first email I was captured and calmed by Eva's peaceful demeanor and empathetic tone. She really works to put you at ease and gets to know you and your partner as a couple. I loved completing the questionnaire, and a lot of her ceremonial practices are ones that even weeks after the wedding I'm still greatly appreciating. Eva is not only the most ambitious, warm, personal, and accomplished wedding officiant one could wish for, but she is also the sweetest person. She wed us last week in Central Park, in our own perfect fairytale wedding. It was one of those magical sunny days in early May, and we had gathered 50 of our closest family and friends, all flown in from around the world (mostly Sweden). The ceremony consisted of everything from laughter to tears, and no one left unmoved. Our guest all praised how amazing Eva was, and we couldn’t have been happier. Eva is everything we could have wished for when choosing a wedding officiant -and so much more! She really took her time to get to know us and make our ceremony special to us. She also helped us by finding the best photographer and amazing musicians. Our wedding was nothing short on perfect, much thanks to Eva. She really went that extra mile for us. We would DEFINITELY recommend Eva to anyone getting married in this beautiful city.

The perfect wedding
We had an elopement marriage, with just the two of us present. We really didn’t know what we wanted for our marriage ceremony, more than getting married. 😉 Eva guided us through the whole process, from the rough planning back in Sweden to finding the right flowers in Manhattan the night before the wedding. She made us feel comfortable and relaxed, with a private and personal ceremony. Yet it all felt so special and ceremonial, just like a ”real wedding”.
She really created the wedding of our dreams and she will always hold a special place in our hearts.
