Before joining the Tilly & Teal family, I was just beginning to plan my wedding and felt overwhelmed by the long list of tasks. With many of our vendors still undecided and no prior wedding planning experience from friends or family, I wasn’t sure where to start or what to prioritize.

We knew with all of the tasks we would need help from a planner/coordinator, and that’s when we found Tilly & Teal! From our very first call, it was clear that Emma was experienced, friendly, and extremely helpful. She went above and beyond the tasks of a typical coordinator. Emma scheduled monthly calls to keep us on track and shared many fantastic ideas that we incorporated into our wedding day. She was very approachable and organized. T+T also introduced us to an online planning platform that was very useful throughout the process. This tool helped us manage guest lists, payments, tasks, ideas, and more while keeping everything organized and streamlined. Having someone to check-in with that was experienced in the planning process was a huge relief. To avoid feeling overwhelmed by everything at once, Emma helped to break down the to-do list and gave monthly “homework” which helped us to stay on track. This really helped the entire planning process to feel manageable.

On our wedding day, Emma and her assistant Reena were amazing. They managed the setup, cleanup, and organization of our day, ensuring we stuck to our timeline and everything was in its right place. They were crucial in bringing our vision to life. When the weather unexpectedly changed, Emma and Reena kept us calm and were transparent about the potential rain plan. Thanks to their efforts, everything went perfectly, and we truly appreciated Emma’s dedication to making our outdoor ceremony happen.

Our favorite moment of our wedding day was the ceremony. Thanks to a few of Emma’s wonderful recommendations, our officiant and DJ were the perfect fit. From the music and mics at the ceremony to the beautiful setup and wording, we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful ceremony. Reciting our vows to one another and standing together in front of all of our close friends and family was a beautiful memory we will cherish forever.

We decided to use Tilly and Teal’s full wedding planning service because we wanted to enjoy the wedding planning process without having to worry about what to do and when, and more importantly, enjoy our wedding day without worrying about all the tiny details that go wrong. Katie and her team allowed us to do just that. Katie made us feel comfortable and confident in her professionalism and knowledge from day 1, and we knew were in the right hands. She listened to what we wanted and did not want, and counselled us on how to use our budget wisely. In fact, with her help, we were able to save a lot of money. Katie advocated for us with vendors so that the process was seamless, for instance, she was able to get my hair and make-up trial on the same day before my bridal shower, a day that initially one of the vendors said they were unavailable. Katie and her team’s magic really shone wedding day. When the Tilly and Teal team arrived, they coordinated vendors for the reception, helped everyone get ready (down to steaming people’s clothing), and ensured that we had ample food and water. Katie and her team made sure that every vendor had what they needed. While I am sure things went wrong wedding day, they always do, we were unaware of it. Tilly and Teal was able to anticipate any problems and handle them without us even noticing. In the end, it was the perfect day, and that’s all due to Tilly and Teal.
