  Best Planners EVER!!

  Katie and her team are the most genuine and sincere people you will ever meet! We were worried about finding a wedding planner that meshed with our personalities and understood the complexities of meshing very different two cultures into one wedding. Katie understood the assignment! Katie was our main planner and Reina helped out the day of and she was AMAZING!! We had just met Reina the day of the wedding and I felt like we knew her for years! We trusted her instantly and she stood up for our wants and needs. Katie stood up for our wants and needs as well throughout the whole planning process. We dealt with some difficult vendors with some major communication issues and she was exactly what we needed to navigate that situation. Even after wedding day when one vendor didn’t pull through as promised, Katie talked to them and got us a full refund. All in all, Tilly and Teal is who you should trust! They are very reasonably priced and have way more attention to detail and make the planning process so so easy! Thank you Katie and team for always being there for us throughout the process and for help make our dream of a wedding day come true!

  Tilly+Teal go infinitely above and beyond. Katie and her team are literally the glue that puts everything together and holds every part of the wedding together from Day 1 to your wedding day. Katie is as kind and funny as she is direct and sincere. Katie’s years of experience as a wedding planner and working with our other vendors/contracts/timelines were indispensable as she guided us through planning our wedding and helped us design our once-in-a-lifetime day.   Best decision I made was hiring Katie

  Oh, Katie and the T&T Team—where do I even begin? It’s funny, because initially, I grappled with the idea of hiring a wedding planner. I questioned whether it was necessary, if it was truly worth the investment, and if I really needed one. So, I started this whirlwind journey of researching different wedding planners. It was a maze of options—different services, varied prices, and approaches to working with clients. After interviewing a handful of planners, I finally landed at the interview with Katie.
  
  From that very first meeting, I just knew she was the one I wanted to work with. It might sound cliché, but her energy and demeanor resonated with me in ways I hadn’t expected. I struggled to articulate my vision for the wedding, yet she seemed to effortlessly grasp it. Her knowledge and enthusiasm for her work were palpable.
  
  I opted for the design and event management package. Now, I’m quite the organized, type A person, but working with Katie was like having a trusted twin throughout the entire process. The Aisle Planner software she uses is fantastic—it kept me impeccably organized, and communication with her was seamless through it.
  
  Our regular monthly meetings and check-ins on the planning progress were invaluable. Her checklist covered every minute detail, relieving me of the burden of remembering every task and when it needed to be accomplished.
  
  Katie’s industry expertise was a game-changer. She gently redirected some of my more impractical ideas while also expanding upon others I would never have imagined. Her insights were enlightening, and her connections in the industry led us to the most fantastic professionals. She was there for vendor meetings, took diligent notes during venue walkthroughs, and left no stone unturned.
  
  On the wedding day, I felt an incredible sense of calm because I had absolute trust in Katie and her team. To be honest, I have no idea if anything didn’t go according to plan, because from my perspective and that of everyone around me, it was flawless!   Best Planner in Va

  I can not say thank you enough to Katie and everyone at Tilly and Teal for making my wedding absolutely incredible. I had absolutely no idea what I wanted or how to even go about planning a wedding. The T + T team somehow managed to create the most curated and personalized wedding that was wayyyyyy better than I could have imagined on my own. I had a lot of friends planning their weddings and they would send me texts about how stressful/overwhelmed they were and I seriously could not relate. I always anticipated my wedding being fun, but this day blew me out of the water. I had a blast at my own wedding and all of our guests made comments about how the night had such an effortless flow that was simply perfect. I would go back and relive my wedding day a million times over and it legit could not have been done without Tilly and Teal. By far the best investment of our wedding!!

  Wedding review

  OMG! Katie and Jackie were absolutely amazing they made our day come to life in every way possible. My husband was skeptical on getting a wedding planner in the beginning of our planning stages but at the end of the day he said that was the best decision we could have made. The T&T team made us feel like family. They answered every question possible they took away any worry that we had they made this process absolutely amazing.
  
  Being my first wedding, I felt very overwhelmed, and under educated with the whole wedding process. Katie and Jackie absolutely took away that where are you? They became my go to for everything. In the moments that my anxiety were high they took that all the way once we had a call and walked me through talk to me through everything.
  
  If you are debating on investing in a wedding planner or not, my answer would be invest you will not regret it one day!

  Tilly and Teal Wedding Event Planners

  My daughter and I would highly recommend Tilly and Teal to create your wedding vision. I was looking for a day of coordinator but after talking with Katie, I immediately knew that I would need more help since my daughter lived out of the state, and we were clueless about maneuvering the wedding maze! Katie and Emma met with us to discuss ideas, monitor budgets, and keep us on a timeline throughout the year. Their wealth of knowledge assisted us in securing excellent, reliable vendors and other invaluable advice. They responded to questions quickly to calm a very anxious mother of the bride. It is apparent that Katie and Emma have the patience of saints!! On the day of the wedding, the weather was sunny and hot after a week of doom and gloom weather predictions. Emma and Rina worked effortlessly to ensure everything went smoothly and it did!! Thank you, Tilly and Teal, for a job well done.

  God took his time with Katie and the T&T Team, LITERAL blessing from heaven

  Besides getting married and adopting our dogs, Katie is literally the best thing to happen to us. After getting engaged my husband and I started looking up venues and vendors right away. We soon realized we had no clue what questions we should be asking, what things to consider, if something was priced fairly, what budget we should anticipate for our wedding day vision, etc. Ultimately, we were overwhelmed, and we were debating throwing in the towel and eloping at a courthouse UNTIL I asked for planner recommendations on a Facebook wedding group. Katie herself commented and asked to be considered. After peeking at her site and liking her style, I scheduled a call with her. From the very beginning we connected with her instantly. It felt like we had a friend by our side who just happened to be a wedding planning guru and knew how to expertly navigate the wedding industry to help us create our dream wedding day. From scheduling and attending our venue visits to saving the day and finding the wedding rings on the morning of (our bad for losing them), Katie was by our side through it all. We told Katie we wanted our wedding to not only be beautiful, but super fun for our guests and it was that and more. Our guests still tell us how our wedding was the most gorgeous and fun wedding they had ever attended. It truly surpassed our wildest dreams. Towards the end Katie 100% knew more about our wedding and the logistics behind it than I did, which was AMAZING. I trusted her completely and all that was left for my husband and I to do was show up, get dressed, and married. Everything she did was with intention and sentiment. An example of this is when she surprised us with custom napkins with our dogs faces on them (now framed in our house!). If you are debating between which planner to hire or if you need one at all please just give T&T a call and you’ll never look back –We gained more than a wedding planning team, they were everything to us throughout the 2 years leading up to our wedding. I will continue to sing T&T praises to anyone I meet. Katie please keep in touch! I already miss our monthly wedding calls! #T&TCouple4life

  Hands down, The Best!

  We can't stress enough how important it was to have a wedding coordinator, and Tilly + Teal were incredible. Rina was our coordinator, and we loved her. She took time to get to know us, us get to know her, and that was important when trying to bring our vision to life. We had her for the 1-2 months before the wedding to bring everything together, and she was on top of all the communication, making sure to schedule calls with us every so often, reminding us of deadlines, guiding us through how to use planning tools like aisle planner to help us. But she cared, that was what stood out and was most important. She cared like it was her own wedding, paying attention to the details, listening, and being reassuring when things got stressful.
  Having a coordinator allowed us to focus on getting ready, being in those little moments the day of while everything else around you gets set up - and you can 100% trust and then some that Rina/Tilly + Teal will take care of you. They work with all of your vendors, are complete professionals, and amazing at what they do. We could not have done things without Rina, she went above and beyond when she didn't have to. We are so appreciative for her, especially her and Emma's help on wedding day! Thank you Rina, we are so grateful!

  WOW! Talk about incredible service. Tilly + Teal couldn't have been better. Katie was there for us every single step of the way, and made herself available for anything and everything. If we had any questions or concerns about the planning process of our wedding, not only did she listen to us, but she provided multiple solutions to find the perfect answer. Our favorite part of the day was our ceremony. At the beginning of planning, Katie asked us what we wanted guests to think of our day, and we said "an adorable demonstration of two people in love" and she delivered. She helped us plan our ceremony to be just that, as well as helped us find small details to make our day perfect. If you aren't using Tilly + Teal, you're doing the planning process wrong.

  Beyond amazing!

  We seriously could not recommend Katie and the Tilly and Teal team enough! From our first phone call, Katie and I clicked. She was extremely professional, personable and she just understood our vision. Katie helped us plan our wedding from across the country (we were living in CA and our wedding was in VA) and she did it with detail, organization, and finesse. She was extremely communicative throughout the entire process. She was more than just our planner. She became my friend and confidante, talking me and reassuring me through some freak-outs along the way! She went above and beyond as a planner and we can't recommend her enough to everyone looking for a wedding planner out there. Tilly and Teal is the absolute best in the game!!!

  T+T is the best!!

  Working with Rina and the T+T team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. They took all the stress of the day away so we could enjoy every minute. Rina, Katie and their team made sure every detail was seamlessly thought out and executed as well as coordinating our vendor team and timeline. Rina went above and beyond to get to know us and our vision to a point where I could completely hand over the reigns, knowing we were in the BEST hands. Every one of our guests was impressed with the execution of the day and we have T+T to thank for that!

  Working with Rina and the T+T team was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day. They took all the stress of the day away so we could enjoy every minute.   Hire katie!

  Don’t think, just hire Katie. Katie is an absolute pleasure to work with. I put my trust in her being an out of state bride & let me just tell you - the reviews don’t do her company justice. I like to pride myself on being organized and it was a little hard to let the reigns go, but having her taking care of every little thing on my wedding day made it so easy to sit back and relax. The best part about Tilly & Teal is Katie and how fun she is to be around. Despite her doing multiple things at once she always made me feel special.   Don’t think, just hire Katie. Katie is an absolute pleasure to work with. I put my trust in her being an out of state bride & let me just tell you - the reviews don’t do her company justice. I like to pride myself on being organized and it was a little hard to let the reigns go, but having her taking care of every little thing on my wedding day made it so easy to sit back and relax. The best part about Tilly & Teal is Katie and how fun she is to be around. Despite her doing multiple things at once she always made me feel special.   Best Planner & A Forever Friend

  Where do I even begin? Hiring Katie was the best decision we made for our wedding hands down. One of the most affordable options I found as well! I chose to hire a full service planner because I lived across the country from where we were getting married. My caterer actually suggested Tilly & Teal to me & I’m SO happy she did. This company is much more than just a planning service! I had so many calls with Katie where we went long past our scheduled time & she just asked me about my mental state in regards to the wedding, work, family, etc. There are many factors that go into planning a wedding & Katie checked in on ALL of them. As a full service client, we worked together from Oct. 2021-June 2022 & now that we’re married I’m considering booking a call with her just to catch up because I miss talking to her every day 😂 The T&T team went above & beyond for us. They got our money back from our flop shuttle service, worked day of with only 2 team members (Katie & Angel) after 1 couldn’t come & they still killed it like they were a team of 3! They even surprised us with the photo booth of our dreams at our reception that we didn’t have the budget for! I can’t even summarize everything amazing they did in one post! JUST HIRE THEM!   T&T are fairy godmothers!

  The best investment we could have possibly made for our wedding day was choosing to work with with Katie and Tilly & Teal. If you are a bride who feels like you have your day pretty well in hand and organized, from planning to choosing your vendors and even decor, you may be on the fence about hiring a coordinator. You've already made it this far, what can they bring to the table? Is it worth the expense? Oh boy, let me tell you!
  
  Katie was in our corner from the day we hired her and played so many roles: friend, advisor, recommender, bulldog when we needed it, someone to bounce ideas off of, therapist, project manager, yoga-breathing partner, but mainly fairy godmother.
  
  T&T made sure that we, bride AND groom, could be fully present with each other on our wedding day. We knew that the timeline was rock solid and accounted for inevitable changes to the plan. Our vision came to life at the venue and everything was set up as if she was in my brain. Were there issues on the day? No idea! Katie had her team had them handled before we even caught wind of them. All day our drinks were full, we were well fed, my tears were dried with a fresh tissue that always seemed to appear out of thin air, and I knew that Katie & her team were invested in making our day truly magical. The appreciation we feel for the amount of time, work, sweat, and effort expended on our behalf can never properly be expressed.
  
  A special moment that I won't soon forget was right before I left the bridal suite to walk down the aisle. Katie came bouncing up, excited that it was time, and the moment caught up to me and I burst in to tears. She paused with me, held my hand, took some deep breaths together, and gave me a few words of advice. That was such an impactful moment for me which showed that Katie cared for me as a person, not just as a client. That is the heart and soul you are hiring with T&T, and her team is a true extension of her.

She created the whole design for the wedding based on our input; managed all the vendors; made sure every little detail was considered and planned out ahead of time; and then ran the wedding day like a well-oiled machine. She was a calming presence throughout the day, while keeping everyone on schedule.

  Perfectly Teal

  It was my wife and I’s destiny to be a Tilly + Teal bride and groom.
  
  3 months before our wedding, our former day of coordinator reached out to my wife, to let her know, due to health reasons, she was voiding all contracts and giving refunds to all of her clients.
  
  As you can imagine, my wife was distraught after hearing this. What were we doing to do for a coordinator just 3 months till our wedding? The optimism side of me knew something would come together for us. I didn’t know something perfect would come our way though.
  
  Within days of our coordinator’s termination of our contract, we were recommended Tilly + Teal by multiple people we knew. A few days after that, we were now in contract with T+T.
  
  We had the pleasure of beginning our relationship with them through their incredible leader Katie. A woman you want in charge of your big day. Katie worked so well with us leading up to our wedding day. Setting up virtual consultations, creating an Aisle Planner page for us (VERY IMPORTANT & TOTALLY RECOMMEND), and just being available to answer any questions.
  
  Katie has great guides provided on aisle planner to help couple’s make decisions about things. She has everything organized, she just needs you to put in your information to allow for things to be complete.
  
  T+T is a great company with strong women with great leadership. We had the pleasure of Rina and Angel being our day of coordinators.
  
  The reason I used the word perfect earlier is because there wasn’t one thing any of these 3 ladies did, that wasn’t perfect. They all gave us the information we needed, organized timelines, were in the right places at the right times, and executed our wedding day perfectly.
  
  I watched Rina effortlessly be in control of our wedding day, offer support to both my wife and I, become covered in white dust & flowers after running through the rain to move an outdoor location to an indoor location for our ceremony, 15 minutes before it was supposed to start. (Rain is good luck on wedding day I was told :)
  
  On a day that celebrates love, you want people who love what they do representing you. Tilly + Teal are those ladies. They love you, they love what they do, and they love to make your day perfect.

  Katie was great to work with, very responsive and flexible. She helped us reschedule our wedding through covid and put in a lot of extra time to make sure that we had everything we wanted without charging is extra!
