Welcome to The Show at Shea’s Seneca! A beloved, historic Buffalo, New York, landmark that showcases the exuberant style of the jazz age. Created as a movie palace in 1929 by Michael Shea, this architectural gem was saved and redeveloped in 2018, with a keen eye on preservation & designs of the era. It is now available for couples looking for a wedding or event venue with retro-glam style and modern amenities. This function space is ideal for a plated dinner event of 100-250 guests or a cocktail station reception for up to 300 guests, with room for dancing. Imagine your name in lights on the marquee, cocktails, and dancing in the lavish atmosphere of the ‘Lobby’ featuring a 2 1/2 story arched ceiling, palladium mirrors, neo-baroque details, and sparkling chandeliers. The entry foyer boasts the original marble walls & coming attraction frames. Your guests will enjoy classic cocktails, bubbly, and more at The Bar, which has a luxe, moody vibe. Complimentary parking, dressing rooms, gold chairs & house linen are a few of the inclusions with venue rental. The team provides bar service, and they can recommend preferred caterers for your menu.
