The DeLand House on Main is a historic wedding and events venue located in Fairport, New York. Right beside the Erie Canal, this French Chateau-style building was built in 1874 and is one of Fairport's most famous landmarks. It has a rich history, at various times serving as a private residence, a restaurant, and an inn. Now containing a wine bar and nine event spaces, both historic and newly renovated, this beautiful house is the perfect blend of past and present.

Facilities and Capacity

With its wide range of event spaces both large and small, The DeLand House on Main can host up to 300 guests for ceremonies and receptions. Couples who prefer a modern setting can choose the DeLand Ballroom, Henry's Bar, or the Boardroom for their celebration. Main & Vine Bar is also available for private rental for up to 30 guests. All of these spaces are bright, airy, and contemporary in design. More intimate gatherings can be held in one of the historic rooms. The Erie Room, the Monroe Room, the Holmes Room, and the Lantern Room have capacities ranging from 24 to 40 guests. Each is sumptuously decorated with antique furniture and period furnishings.

The DeLand House on Main offers a range of services to make things as easy as possible for you on the day. They'll provide you with tables, chairs, linens, flatware, and glassware. Catering services are available in-house for up to 75 guests the venue's preferred vendors, who offer delicious dishes served as a buffet, plated dinner, stations, or family-style.
