Jade was our DJ and she did an OUTSTANDING job!!! If you are booking a DJ for your wedding in Western NY you need to book with WDS. We compared quality and cost across many other DJ’s when planning our wedding in Buffalo NY and WDS hit all the marks on all things to consider. Their level of professionalism is excellent. Their interactive app let us really personalize the mood and music we wanted to have on our big day. We felt like we were in good hands every step of the way, they never missed a beat. The video chats we had with them to plan our music, announcements, etc. were detailed and so so organized. When you hire WDS you are not just hiring a DJ to show up and play music. You are hiring an MC for your big day. They ensure your event runs smoothly, on time, and they make sure to bring the party! We cannot say enough great things about DJ Jade she is fun and professional, she has great communication, all music transitions were seamless, our dance floor had our guests on it all night, she knew how to read the room and curate the best playlist for us and our guests.

There’s so many things to worry about when planing a wedding…please book WDS as your DJ because that will be a HUGE part of your day lol don’t have to worry about at all. They make sure you are taken care of. And then you absolutely have to request DJ JADE!!! She is the best.

DJ jade is so incredibly talented!! Throughout the entire process she was so helpful and very organized. My playlist was fun and energetic just like her; it was a perfect fit! Jade was not only punctual and organized, but knew exactly the vibe that we wanted for our wedding. It was a perfect night and the Jade was the main reason why. Her mashups were great as well! We cannot thank you enough for the time of our lives. Music means everything to us and Jade embodied exactly what we were looking for in a DJ. I highly recommend her for any wedding/party event. She will bring 110% effort and fun energy to your party!

My favorite part of the night was her dancing with me, which I asked for. We wanted a DJ that was involved and would have as much fun as we would.

DJ Jade was absolutely fantastic! She brought wonderful energy and kept the dance floor going all evening. Jade was caring, helpful, flexible, and professional throughout the process. Jade also helped us incorporate a reverse anniversary dance, a private last dance, and the perfect icebreaker song! Many of my guests commented on how awesome the music as well as the “run of show” was throughout all the parts of the wedding, and a few mentioned that it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Jade was a huge part of what made that possible! Jade from Whirlin’ Disc was the easiest and best choice I could have made for my wedding day and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone!! Whirlin Disc Sound is a great company. DJ Zo was absolutely amazing to work with. He made us feel heard throughout the entire process. Most notable moments among many was the introductions and his attention to details about songs we had discussed that we really liked. The night felt carefree and for an English and Spanish audience he navigates the transitions seamlessly. Truly a joy to work with and made our wedding day so special. All of our guest mentioned they had a great time.

Our DJ Jordan was the perfect match for us - he listened to all of our requests from how we wanted cocktail hour to how we wanted our dance floor packed all night. He created several custom mixes that came out amazing and made the night special. This included a surprise transition from my dance with my dad to one with my mom that she had no idea about; something I and my mom will never forget.
I can't recommend WDS enough - especially Jordan if you're looking for a real party! Thanks so much Jordan!

Jordan was the best DJ I could’ve asked for. He was great at communicating and livened up the dance floor! I got believe how many reviews we got of how good our dj was at the wedding and will be recommending him to everyone! He’s our new family dj doing all 3 of our family weddings and then hopefully some more!

My wife and I hired Whirlin Disc Sound ("WDS") for our recent wedding, where DJ Trae did a wonderful job providing music and keeping our guests entertained. We also hired the photobooth and the workers manning the booth created an enjoyable experience for our guests. They all exceeded expectations and then some, and each deserve five stars.

From the beginning, we were extremely impressed with WDS' incredible mix of approachability and professionalism. We had an introductory meeting with WDS eight or nine months before our wedding, where we discussed our early visions for our reception. WDS then gave us access to an app where we could slowly build our playlist by listing songs as "must play," recommended plays, and "do not play."

We built our playlist before meeting with WDS again around two months before our wedding. In this meeting, we went over the playlist we built and discussed our wedding timeline. With guidance, we determined which songs could be played at which point in the evening.

Shortly after this meeting, we were paired up with DJ Trae. DJ Trae did such a fantastic job with the wedding prep and the wedding itself that he deserves his own paragraphs. We first met with DJ Trae a few weeks before the wedding. In that meeting, we went over our wedding timeline again and DJ Trae came prepared with questions for us about that timeline. His attention to detail was impressive. He had a great idea for doing a reverse anniversary dance where the couples who have been married the longest come out on the floor first. There is a good chance that the couple who has been married the longest is the grandparents of either the bride or the groom. This was not the case at my wedding, but I'd imagine this would be a nice moment for the grandparents.

DJ Trae kept in contact with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding, which was helpful when plans inevitably changed. DJ Trae seamlessly integrated these changes into the wedding. And, finally, DJ Trae did a fantastic job at the reception. He masterfully adjusted his playlist on the fly, played a slow dance at our request, and checked in with us to see which song we wanted. He read the energy of the room well and his song selections met or increased the energy as needed. DJ Trae did a fantastic job with the music, and our guests have only had positive things to say about him.

We also had the photobooth. I'd recommend getting this as well. Guests were able to use the photobooth throughout the night. At the end of the night, we received a binder full of photographs and notes from our guests. It's a wonderful keepsake from a wonderful night.

Simply put, if you want to have a fantastic wedding that your guests will rave about, you need to hire WDS.

Jordan and the WDS team was incredible. I had a few dozen specific details and silly requests like “make the sound be like the end of an 80s teen movie” and Jordan nailed every single one. The team was responsive from the start, their intro meeting was incredible and we booked them immediately. Not only did he handle my million tiny details perfectly, but the POWER WENT OUT AT THE VENUE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DANCE WITH THE PARENTS!!!! He had a backup speaker on and running in under a minute, it was absolutely amazing and he saved the day while the venues power came back on. I even got a photo back of him setting up the back up kit! He kept in the dance floor packed and with a good flow and variety. He even got my favorite kind of music(not really dance floor music) going with the right crowd, so I was able to enjoy my own style for little bit. Every question or concern i had, he had a solution and playlist for it. WDS and Jordan were incredible and our day could not have gone as smooth without them. I even got a photo back of him setting up the back up kit!

We absolutely loved working with Whirlin Disc for our wedding! From our initial meeting to the end of our wedding day, everything went smoothly and everyone was a pleasure to work with. DJ Joe was amazing. He kept checking in with us throughout the evening, and was accommodating to our requests for how we wanted to do our entrance and first dance. The dance floor was packed, which is exactly what we wanted! DJ Joe kept playing banger after banger...by the end of the night, everyone was exhausted from how much dancing they did. We received a lot of compliments about DJ Joe from our guests as well! We also did a photo booth through Whirlin Disc. They worked with us to create our own custom photo strip, which we loved. And the photo booth attendant, whose name I believe is also Joe, was also great to work with! 10/10 would recommend Whirlin Disc!
