We absolutely loved our experience working with Jeff! We initially were introduced to him at a friend's wedding, where we were impressed by his MC/hosting skills!

Working alongside Jeff to plan our own wedding was wonderful - he was very responsive and willing to answer any and all questions I had! We selected a more traditional "80s/classics" playlist for our wedding, and he took our "must play" list and turned it into an epic set! Our dance floor was full ALL NIGHT!

Jeff kept the energy up all evening, and kept us all on schedule. There was never an awkward silence or quiet moment, between the music and the MC'ing, it made the whole evening feel so special. Jeff also frequently checked in with us as the bride & groom to make sure we were enjoying what was being played and if we were comfortable with the evening's timeline. Our other vendors loved collaborating with him as well.

Seriously, best DJ and vendor partner! So grateful we had the opportunity to work with him!

We had an amazing experience with Whirlin' Disc DJ! From the planning process to the last song of the night, everything was seamless. Their online planning portal was incredibly easy to use, helped us stay organized, and made communicating our timeline, music preferences, and special requests so simple. Our DJ, Jeff B., was fantastic! He kept the energy up all night, read the room perfectly, and had our dance floor packed from start to finish.

We also used their photo booth service, which was such a hit! It was easy to use, so much fun, and gave our guests another way to make memories throughout the night.

We couldn't be happier with our decision to book Whirlin' Disc DJ. They helped make our wedding day everything we hoped it would be, and we would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, organized, and fun DJ team!

Jeff at Whirlin Disc DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Never having hired a DJ, I assumed we were hiring someone to play music but we got so much more than that! Jeff was so interactive with guests, he seemed to remember everyones names. He wpuld throw out a guest name with a great call back to something earlier in the evening. He kept our giests, and us, so entertained and was exceptional. We wpuldnt think of hiring anyone else in the future and highly recemmond him to others. You will not be disapointed!

We had a great experience with Whirlin’ Disc DJ for our recent wedding! Our DJ was super nice. He played great music but we do wish more of our requested songs were played. Would definitely recommend them for a wedding or party!

Whirlin Discs (and Jeff in particular) are amazing! We experienced them at a wedding in May of 2024 and really enjoyed the reception, so when it came time for ours we knew we wanted the same. Jeff was so easy to work with, the portal for information, songs, and notes was very easy to use and available early, and our pre-planning meeting was so smooth. Jeff asked all the right questions (some of which we hadn't considered) and was so flexible to our needs. The day of, he was our first vendor to arrive just to make sure he was fully set up on time, and even dealt with a relocation of the ceremony and happy hour due to rain :(. The photo booth was also so cute and silly, and the attendants were kind, helpful, and respectful. Everyone enjoy taking photos, and we (as the couple) got a physical and digital copy of every photo as well to help us remember.
We definitely recommend Whirlin Discs for any CNY wedding or event!

Jeff was so great to work with and made our special day run seamlessly. He kept the party going all night!! The Photo Booth was such a fun addition to the wedding and was many guests favorite part! Jeff made himself available during the planning process. He was very responsive and easy to schedule meetings with via zoom or in person. He came early on the day of to set up and to go over the plan one more time with me. Thank you Jeff for your reasonable prices, good vibes, and for making our wedding unforgettable!

We were initially a little hesitant to book with Whirling Disc because their pricing was significantly lower than most of the other quotes we received, and we had seen some mixed reviews online. After speaking with our venue coordinator, we decided to move forward with DJ Demi—and we’re so glad we did.

From the start, Demi was professional, organized, and easy to work with. Before the wedding, she met with us to discuss our vision for the day, review the timeline, and select our special songs. Her preparation and attention to detail gave us confidence that everything would run smoothly.

On the wedding day, Demi arrived early and was fully set up with plenty of time to spare. She kept the evening moving seamlessly, ensuring introductions, speeches, and key moments stayed on schedule without ever feeling rushed.

When it was time to open the dance floor, Demi truly shined. I never expected our crowd to dance for three straight hours, but she made it happen. She read the room perfectly, adjusted the energy as needed, and kept guests engaged all night. She knew exactly when to hype up the crowd and when to let the music speak for itself.

We got married later in life than many of our friends, and guests still tell us that our wedding had one of the most fun dance floors they’ve experienced. That was a direct reflection of Demi’s talent, preparation, and passion for what she does.

It’s clear that Demi genuinely cares about her clients and treats every wedding as more than just another event. Her professionalism, enthusiasm, and ability to create an unforgettable atmosphere helped make our wedding everything we hoped it would be. We will always cherish those memories and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Photo Booth 7/10

We booked our photo booth through Whirling Disc and were excited to add it to our reception. We selected the package that included unlimited 4x6 prints and digital copies, and appreciated the flexibility to use our own backdrop and neon sign. Their graphic designer also worked with me to customize the print template so it matched the invitations I had designed, which was a thoughtful touch that helped tie everything together.

On the wedding day, the team arrived on time, had everything set up before the reception began, and provided a variety of fun props for guests to enjoy. The booth was popular throughout the evening, and many guests had a great time using it.

Unfortunately, we did run into a couple of issues. The biggest concern was the quality of the photos. I’m not sure whether it was the venue lighting, the neon sign, the flash settings, or a combination of factors, but most of the photos ended up looking very washed out. As a result, the image quality was not what we had hoped for. I do wish the booth attendant had tried troubleshooting during the event by adjusting the lighting or camera settings to improve the results.

We had also planned to use the photo booth prints as part of our guestbook, with guests adding a photo and leaving a message. Unfortunately, the printer experienced issues during the reception, and the attendant was unable to get it working. Because of this, we weren’t able to create the guestbook as planned. While it certainly didn’t ruin the day, I was disappointed to miss out on a keepsake I had been looking forward to having.

To Jeff’s credit, he worked hard to make things right afterward. He personally printed and mailed copies of all of the photos, providing enough prints for everyone pictured as well as a copy for us. He also refunded the fee for the unlimited print package, which I appreciated and felt was a fair gesture given the circumstances.

Overall, I was pleased with the customer service and the effort Jeff put into resolving the issues after the wedding. While the washed-out photos and inability to create our guestbook were disappointing, I appreciated the professionalism and accountability shown afterward. Based on that experience, I would still consider working with Whirling Disc again.

My wife and I were very happy with DJ Demi and Whirlin Disc for our wedding. Demi was the right match for our music tastes, she prioritized communication, and was an excellent MC for the evening. There weren’t any technical or hardware issues and her ability to read the room made it so the dance floor was full all night! As a lesbian couple, we were pleased to feel respected by both Dj Demi and owner Jeff throughout our planning process and big day. I would confidently recommend them to my family and friends.

I can't recommend DJ Demi enough. She was incredible and kept the party going all night. My husband and I hired her for our wedding and she did an amazing job of brining our very eclectic music tastes together and keeping the dance floor lively all night. I am still having people, over 5 months after the fact tell me that it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to, and while I'm sure I'm a little biased, I agree.
