The Carriage House is a beautiful barn wedding venue in Saint Augustine, Florida that features an enchanting walkthrough garden for an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. It is in a prime location for downtown St. Augustine—close enough for after-parties but far enough to have our own convenient parking lot (a rarity in St. Augustine).
This 2000-square-foot, climate-controlled barn offers a cozy and romantic setting. The large barn opens up to exposed beams, farmhouse tables, stringed market lights, and a carriage-wheel chandelier. We love the barn's ability to perfectly transform itself for a rustic celebration or an elegant, more formal affair.
The venue has undergone extensive renovations and was previously known as "The Pioneer Barn at Fort Menendez " until 2018.
Coordinators, Food & Vendors:
We do not provide food services; however, you are welcome to have any licensed caterer deliver these services for your event and we offer a preffered list to help in your search! We love the uniqueness this brings to events with personalized food selections.
Our wedding packages include a professional planner who can help you choose the right vendors for you! If you are already under contract with an approved planner, please let us know so our package pricing can reflect this!

The Baker Barn Wedding
The Carriage House was our dream venue for our wedding. Since I was a little girl I dreamed of a barn wedding. Erin and her team brought my dream to life. From the tour of the facility and the multiple package options I was able to make the Carriage House venue exactly what I dreamed of for my wedding. The planning process was made so easy not only by the wedding package we chose having many tedious wedding tasks handled for us, but also using the resources Erin and her team already have vetted for us. Any ideas or requests I made of the venue were met with acceptance and eagerness by the venue staff to make it happen and bring us our dream wedding. From the outdoor garden wedding to the spacious barn brought to life with a casual reception vibe. We loved every moment of our wedding at the Carriage House and appreciate how hard the venue team worked to make our dreams come true.
Gail also was able to recommend a DJ, and florist that know the venue and take great care of their clients. They were awesome. I did not step foot into the venue until 5 minutes before the ceremony (crazy, I know) but I was confident that things would be lovely and they absolutely were. Gail was on-hand before to direct vendors and set-up; during the ceremony putting last touches on things inside (we used the porch for our ceremony to take advantage of the setting sunlight); and she stayed in the background helping during the reception and to the very end, picking up any stray items that had fallen, ensuring the photographers knew where they could get the best shots, doing everything she could to be helpful. Every venue should have a Gail, and the Pioneer Barn was the perfect setting for our ceremony and reception. Thank you so much for everything!!

The Pioneer Barn is such a wonderful place for your special day! It's a uniquely beautiful venue that caterers to that Rustic Florida theme. Joa and all the staff are very accommodating. They will do anything they can to make sure their brides and guests and happy! We always enjoy working weddings at The Pioneer Barn!!
