The Barn at Cottonwood Ranch is a wedding and event venue located in Callahan, Florida. Cottonwood Ranch sits on 759 beautiful acres of pastures, freshwater ponds, and ancient trees. The ranch is home to more than 500 free-range Angus cattle. The expansive and secluded ranch is the perfect place to host weddings and events.
Facilities and Capacity
More than 85 percent of the lumber to build the Barn was sourced from the ranch. The Barn has a massive covered front porch for a grand entrance and two covered side porches for outside space, cathedral ceilings, beautiful exposed woodwork, and large windows. It also features hand-hewn cypress, a repurposed syrup kettle fire pit, and reclaimed railings from a 19th-century bank. Beneath the grand staircase is a large stone barn with a locally sourced cypress. The Barn has grand amenities including a main hall, bridal lounge, groom’s cabin, bar, commercial kitchen, large gas fire pit, and more. It is accessible to everyone with wide, paved paths, low thresholds, and ADA-compliant restrooms. The main gathering space of the Barn is on the ground level and easy for all to explore. The Barn can accommodate 300 guests.

The Barn is set in a secluded place on the ranch so that guests can dance, sing and party the night away with no worries of bothering nearby neighbors. The Barn at Cottonwood Ranch can host ceremonies, receptions, showers, engagement parties, elopements, rehearsal dinners, and other wedding events. Their staff gives every couple a tour and helps them choose the right space to host their events and recommends talented vendors to work with.

Make your jaw drop. The entire property is well maintained and spread out, so you never feel cramped. The drive in from the main road has gorgeous views of vast, grassy pastures of exotic livestock. The groomsmen get an awesome two-story cabin that feels like a hunting lodge to spend the day in before the ceremony begins. Our wedding photos were amazing, too. There are no shortage of backdrops for your photos! Jane, the coordinator, was a pleasure to work with. She was happy to answer any questions we had via text/email, so if you are an antsy bride with tons of questions, Jane will never make you feel like a bother. The owners/staff are super accommodating and very down to earth. I would hands down recommend this venue to my close friends and family. “
