There were so many moving parts, so many people involved, and so many cultural details to honor – she managed it all with grace, while honoring tradition but still keeping our vision at the heart of every event. 

She handled every aspect of the process: venue and vendor sourcing, all communication, timelines, logistics, and more. Her negotiation skills are genuinely impressive—she secured upgrades and extras we never thought were within our budget, and it made such a meaningful difference in how the weekend came together.

Despite the chaos of coordinating so many vendors and all the last-minute changes that inevitably come with a wedding of this scale, Jade stayed calm, patient, and gracious through it all. And on the occasion when something didn’t go to plan, she owned it immediately and took every step possible to make it right.

In the end, we got the most beautiful, unforgettable wedding weekend, and we truly couldn’t have pulled off anything close to this without her. If you’re looking for a planner who can handle complexity, emotion, culture, and chaos with a smile, she’s the one.

Jade was instrumental in sourcing and working with vendors. We were a bit clueless about what to expect in terms of pricing, but she helped us determine our budget early on and how costs would break down. Jade saved us more than a couple times by warning us when vendor quotes were unreasonable (or unbelievably reasonable!), and found us our bakery, florist, and DJ, who all did amazing work within our budget. Jade kept us up-to-date and made sure we were comfortable with costs throughout the whole planning process. 

Jade also worked really closely with our photographer and videographer, and helped us coordinate an engagement photoshoot so we could get to know our photographer and make sure we liked working with them before the actual wedding day. She even surprised us on the day by bringing along disposable cameras so that we could capture memories from the perspective of the guests. 

Planning a wedding with Jade was like doing a group project with the smartest kid in the class - every inconceivably large task was broken down into manageable chunks, everything seemed to come together right on schedule, and it was always fun to brainstorm together.

Jade was an absolute dream to work with for our very non-traditional wedding. From the start, she fully embraced our ideas, some of which were admittedly a little unconventional. She and never once pushed us toward something more “typical.” She also managed to navigate the handful of traditional requests from our families with so much tact, blending them in without diluting the vibe we wanted. There were a few elements that we thought might be difficult to pull off, but Jade handled them quietly and flawlessly behind the scenes, and we could tell she put real thought into making them feel intentional rather than like compromises. Every detail was handled with care, and we genuinely didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day-of, which let us just focus on each other and enjoying the day. She was worth every penny, and we’re so grateful she helped bring our vision to life!

I hired Jade to plan the launch weekend of my business, a cafe/bar in NYC. Jade made a very stressful weekend run smoothly and beautifully. I don't know what I would have done without her! The Fifth House took my wildest ideas and transformed them into something stunning, grounded, and deeply personal. As a Black, queer, woman-owned business, TFH prioritized queer vendors of color from the jump, which meant a lot to me. I’m Palestinian, and Jade went out of her way to make sure every vendor was openly anti-Zionist so my money stayed aligned with my values.

Historically, I’ve hated my birthday, the expectations, the pressure, the whole thing, but I wanted to close out my 20s with something that actually felt like me. Jade held that with so much care and brought it to life. I wanted to cook my friends a 10-course lemon-themed dinner for my 29th, one course for each of my sour years past, a slightly psychotic idea, I know. But Jade didn’t judge the chaos; she indulged it while also grounding me in reality, reminding me that I would not want to be in the kitchen all night and that my friends would want me present, soaking in the love.

She helped me build a shopping list, a cooking schedule, and a kitchen flow so I could still have my hand in curating the meal without disappearing from my own party. We sat down for hours to talk through color palettes, dinner party playlist, calligraphy for the nameplates, and the psychosocial dynamics of a seating chart. She was methodical in the best way but also genuinely hilarious, which made the whole planning process feel joyful instead of stressful.

The tablescape and flowers she came up with were breathtaking, and she crafted lemon centerpieces that people are still talking about. Her execution exceeded every expectation I had, and I can genuinely say through Jade’s magic touch, I’ve shed the “I hate my birthday” mentality. This was more than a worthy expense for the peace, care, and brilliance she brought to the entire process. I ended the night feeling celebrated, centered, and already dreaming up my next event with her.

I have never been more sure about anything in my life than trusting Jade to bring my vision to life. Jade orchestrated the most incredible birthday party! Every aspect of the party, from the theme to the decorations, entertainment, and even the smallest details, was flawlessly executed. Thanks to their expertise and dedication, the birthday celebration was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. 10/10, highly recommend!
