Amazing restaurant and venue

I love the corson building! I have just come for dinner and absolutely loved it and I also had my wedding there as well. It was the perfect venue for our wedding. The garden surrounding the building looked so great and I loved getting married underneath a fig tree. The food is always phenomenal and they cater to anyone that has any allergies or intolerances. All the guests at the wedding really loved the family style plates and loved all of the courses. It was so beautiful and even after the sun set it looked amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better venue for our special day.

The Corson Building was AMAZING. Not only is it a gorgeous gem tucked into an cool/industrial-but-hip neighborhood, but the food is incredible! They charge a venue fee (totally reasonable) but otherwise they run on restaurant prices and don't tack on huge service fees for each server, cook, bartender or dishwasher like most other caterers. It's not cheap but for gourmet food from one of the country's top up-and-coming chefs (Matt Dillon) it's totally worth it. dave, who we worked with on the event, was a dream. He was SO accomodating. I get the feeling these guys don't do weddings every weekend (or even every month) but they are so professional and open to any and all ideas. About 24 hours before our wedding I realized we had purchased the wrong size tablecloths (round vs. rectangular) and Dave jumped into action and rented us the proper linens. No hesitation and he was happy to do it. I believe he used the phrase "don't worry about a thing." And I didn't, and the day was PERFECT, and there were chickens (not for eating, just for egg laying) and I wish I could have a party here every weekend.

We've had dinner at The Corson Building a few times now on special occasions (and always had a wonderful experience!), but this review is specifically about our experience with them as a wedding venue. The Corson Building is a beautiful spot, and it's perfect for a small to medium-sized gathering. We held our wedding (64 guests) there in August 2016, with a quick ceremony (most guests were standing) in their garden space followed by a cocktail reception on the patio and a buffet served in the main building with seating in the open area next door (a lovely space with a red-brick backdrop--you need a permit for it, but that can be arranged through Corson). The patio space transitioned into a dance space as the night wore on. Matt at The Corson Building worked with our planner on all of the arrangements, and we couldn't be happier with how things turned out. The food was incredible, drinks were delicious, and the whole event had a wonderful, laid-back vibe. Just what we wanted. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. Highly recommended if you're looking for a small, intimate venue with amazing farm-to-table catering.
