About this venue
Marysville Opera House is a classic wedding and event venue conveniently located off I-5 located in Marysville, Washington. The interior is adorned with a tin-pressed ceiling, chandeliers, a stage, and a balcony overlooking the main floor. This building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places, originally built by the Independent Order of Oddfellows, and has hosted countless performances throughout the years. You will love the timeless elegance of this building and enjoy the cottage and intimate garden space that adjoin.
Facilities and Capacity
The City of Marysville owns the Marysville Opera House, which is an all-inclusive venue. The elegant main floor and ballroom is ADA accessible. The main floor has beautiful space to host your wedding ceremony or reception. It includes a small concession area with a sink and bar-size refrigerator. The balcony level is accessible only by stairs, and the lower level caterer kitchen is also accessible. The Opera House can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests when set up with theatre-style seating and 150 for banquet and table layout. Couples can begin the day in the venue's get-ready cottage, where they can spend time with their party in private. Beautiful wedding photos can be taken in the garden space and inside this historic building.
Services Offered
Included with your rental is use of the get ready cottage, garden space, stage, balcony and kitchen area, theater style chairs, round tables, banquet tables, and various smaller surfaces. Linens, lighting and A/V can be provided at an extra cost.

Amazing service
The owners Debi and Gene are AMAZING. I can't even count the number of times I went to the open houses to work on my floor plan, getting idea's from them on where tables would/should go to accomodate my handicapped and scooterbound guests.
Due to the timing of my hair and makeup team and when I wanted to do pictures Debi and Gene were able to clean up from the wedding the night before to allow me into the venue 2 hours before my scheduled time.
I was given full access to everything I needed and after the ceremony they both came back and were there to help transition the room for the reception. If given the choice to do it all over again I would most certainly choose the Marysville Opera House.

Marysville Opera House is by far one of my favorite venues, performing about 20 events a year there. It is the perfect setting for your wedding or special occasion, the sound is perfect, the dance floor is amazing, the staff - Debbie and Gene are personal and the best(Love you guys!). It's the perfect setup! I love how I can setup easy, enough room for audience participation. Perfect to DJ or the photo booth! Marysville Opera House and Catch The Beat work hand in hand, amazing teamwork.
