A Dream Venue

From start to finish, Robinswood House was an absolute dream.

It is hard to imagine a venue that offers more in one place. You have gorgeous PNW woods just a two-minute walk across a beautiful grassy field, a small lake, a sunken garden, a wonderful gathering space for guests before the ceremony that seamlessly transforms into the perfect cocktail-hour spot and then into a dance floor, and a beautiful separate space for dinner. The indoor buffet area has plenty of room for dinner service, cake, and even a full dessert buffet if that’s your thing. Every part of the property photographs beautifully, and the entire day can flow from one space to another without ever feeling repetitive.

And then there are Joanna and Mike.

They are absolute miracle workers and know this venue inside and out. Throughout the entire planning process, I never once felt nickel-and-dimed. Their rental prices are beyond reasonable, and after seeing firsthand how much work they personally put into each event, I honestly think what they do is undervalued. They care about the details, and it shows.

Robinswood House also handles all of the alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages, and the level of care they put into the bar program was incredible. We were able to schedule multiple walkthroughs and meetings, including working with them to get our batched signature cocktails exactly right. The cocktails ended up being one of the highlights of the wedding for us.

On the wedding day, when I was having a slightly stressed-out moment, Joanna appeared with a Diet Coke and a smile and reassured me that everyone was having a wonderful time and that the day was beautiful. It was such a small gesture, but it meant so much to me in that moment.

The string lights they hung made every photo look magical. The linens were perfect. At one point the bar line looked long, but it moved at lightning speed. They were attentive to guests and handled venue policies professionally and kindly—even when a few guests tried to bring their own non-alcoholic drinks inside, they calmly explained the policy and kept everything moving without creating an awkward situation.

One thing couples should know is that Robinswood House does not provide a designated wedding coordinator, so you may want to arrange for one separately. That said, Joanna and Mike were incredibly on top of everything that was their responsibility. They kept up with our schedule beautifully, required no reminders from us, and were consistently attentive throughout the day.

A few pieces of advice for future couples: contact them as soon as you are eligible to reserve your date (I believe it is around 18 months out), be as detailed as possible with your timeline, and communicate promptly. They are busy for a reason, and good communication goes both ways. The only minor logistical stressor for us was that the rehearsal date and time could not be confirmed until about 30 days beforehand, which was a little tricky with members of our wedding party flying in from out of town. Ultimately, though, even that worked out just fine.

I genuinely cannot imagine a more beautiful, smooth, or magical wedding day than the one we had at Robinswood House. There are always little things you might change when looking back on a wedding, but the venue would never be one of them.

I wish we could have another wedding there immediately.

Joanna, Mike, and Robinswood House deserve every beautiful, busy wedding season ahead of them. We simply cannot speak highly enough of this place or the people who make it so special.

Beautiful venue all around!

We got married here in June 2026 and had such a wonderful experience, not just on the wedding day itself, but throughout the entire planning process. Joanna was wonderful to work with, as was the rest of the team. The venue is beautiful, especially in the summer, and has plenty of spots for photos both indoors and outdoors. On top of that, the surrounding park offers even more opportunities for photos.

One of the things I loved most was how the space can be divided into different sections thanks to the three patios. We had 70 guests and had plenty of room. I would say the venue could comfortably accommodate around 120 guests.

I know some reviews mention concerns about parking and the park not being private, but for us, neither was an issue at all. There is plenty of free parking available, and while the surrounding park is public, the venue itself feels secluded thanks to the hedge walls. We never experienced any problems with noise or lack of privacy.

I can sincerely say that Robinswood House was perfect for us. The staff was lovely, the venue was gorgeous and well maintained, and their recommended caterer (We chose ACT 3), was exceptional (both the service and the food were amazing!). I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and welcoming place to celebrate their wedding.

The perfect setting for our intimate gathering

We had our small (approx. 40 guests) wedding (ceremony & dinner reception) at Robinswood House in mid September and we loved it! It was still the perfect setting for our event.

Robinswood House is a hidden gem in the Greater Seattle Area! It’s right off of I90 so it was super convenient for us and our guests. The grounds are well kept and the gardens provided a gorgeous backdrop for our wedding. We didn’t need a lot of decor as the natural beauty of the place stood on its own. The house itself is well-appointed with everything needed for caterer setup and for the wedding parties to get ready.

Joanna and Mike were great partners in bringing our event to life! For the ceremony, we wanted a pretty specific setup and Mike made it happen! He was meticulous with all the measuring, testing out layouts, and making adjustments to ensure that things worked in the space. Our dinner reception was also held outdoors but the PNW being what it is, the weather turned the day before and we had to make a last minute decision to get a tent. Joanna was both effective and compassionate in handling the change: she assured us that “we’re in this together” and within minutes everything was sorted out. Planning a wedding can be stressful enough so it was refreshing to work with such a capable team at Robinswood House.

Highly recommend both for the venue and for the team behind it!

Robinswood House rocks!

My daughter was recently married at Robinswood House. The beautiful setting was both rustic, classic and comfortable. Joanna and Michael and the rest of the team are commended for their professionalism and accommodation of requests. They were key in helping us attend to all the details that we surely did not know about or would have forgotten! Robinswood House, a special historic log cabin, was beautiful with spacious suites for the wedding parties. The grounds including the dinner set up, dancing and ceremony areas made for seamless execution of events. The venue's flexibility and inclusion of amenities like chairs and linens as well as assistance with planning were major positives. Overall, The Robinswood House was a great choice with outstanding service and dreamy atmosphere, making my daughter’s wedding truly special and unforgettable.

Absolutely perfect park setting!

Robinswood House is the perfect setting for a Wedding, whether outdoors in the summer, or indoors in the winter. My daughter got married mid-August, and all the photography turned out absolutely stunning, mostly for the photo opportunities, ie; trails, buildings, wall hedge, gardens, flower baskets, and just the space in general. I found Joanna to be quite helpful with ideas, and worked with me on everything from the Bar service, to reaching out to other vendors regarding a Timeline etc. I thought the pricing was reasonable, considering there was ample parking, and the park-like setting. It was absolutely perfect for 100 or so guests, and can accomodate much more. I highly recommend this venue!

Wedding Venue

We are so happy we picked Robinswood for our June wedding! We were already working on a contract with another venue but it was taking so long we thought we’d tour Robinswood, and after the tour, we both knew we had to have our wedding there! It was much less expensive, both charming and humble, and it was clear Joanna was super organized and would help with all the planning (and we were right – she and Mike did a great job asking the right questions and keeping us on track!).

The only thing about the venue that I’d known earlier was that only a certain number of people fit under the tents, if your wedding is during a time of year that might rain. We invited 170 guests and I wish we’d done more like 120 because it was very stressful trying to plan to squeeze everyone under that tent for dinner since unfortunately this spring lasted so long. It did work out and it was fabulous!

Another thing that is good to know is you won’t know your guaranteed rehearsal date until 30 days before. We made a few plans for anticipating possible times, since we couldn’t wait until a month before for family and wedding party to book flights. Since the venue is public during non-event hours, it is possible to rehearse on your own time as well, which is very convenient!

It is also good to be aware they have a list of caterers to pick from. We picked Twelve Baskets and they were amazing! Other things we liked about the venue is they provide tables, linen, arch, beer/wine and sound system, some décor, as well as a super hands on approach to planning, layouts and recommendations. Robinswood park is a beautiful place for photos, especially the forested areas.

Some more unique things we did were have live musician instead of DJ, set out lawn games and board games and played the Shoe Game instead of dancing, and have a popcorn bar and dessert time! Joanna helped coordinate for all of these, such as moving the ceremony setup out of the way for games. We didn’t feel like we had any big surprises on the day of because everything had been anticipated and planned for. And as you can see from the photos, everything looked magical!

Gorgeous location and service!

Gorgeous setting and the team at Robinswood House is a joy to work with. The flowers and greenery already at Robinswood House in the summer are stunning. We just had a few centerpieces and the place looked amazing. Joanna was so helpful, understanding, and flexible as we had to postpone our reception due to covid. A gem of a venue!

Great venue

This is a beautiful venue and the organizers are very helpful. We had a small wedding with around 20 people, and it was perfect. Location was also a big plus, as it is close to Bellevue and an I-90 exit.

The perfect wedding venue

I have nothing but good things to say about Robinswood House. It was the first venue we saw in-person, and we knew in the first 5 minutes of being there that it was everything we wanted in a venue - absolutely gorgeous, convenient location, and reasonably priced. Management was kind, professional, responsive, and well-organized from the day we booked until the day of our wedding.
Our original wedding date was in 2020, and we heard so many nightmare stories about other venues from other couples who had to postpone their wedding. And to be honest, it would have been understandable if the venue did drop some balls in the chaos that was 2020 and even 2021. Not Robinswood House and, specifically, Joanna. She was so kind, flexible and informative through the pandemic chaos. I cannot recommend this venue highly enough.
Oh, and side bonus - when there isn't a wedding on, the Robinswood House gardens are open as part of the park. Which means we can easily go back and enjoy that place and the memories it holds for us in the future.
We're all about trust. Our community relies on honest reviews to help you make those big decisions with ease.

I thoroughly enjoy conducting ceremonies at the Robinswood House. Weddings, memorials, receptions are just that much better. Close to two major Interstates, but you'll swear you're light years from traffic and trouble. Beautiful grounds. nicely maintained, great building. A memorable place.
