I was the DJ for a couple where the groom was deaf as well as many guests. It was a great venue to bring visual stimulation. There is so much that you can do with this space or you can just enjoy the natural look which is stunning as well

We were so happy we chose AXIS as our wedding venue! It’s a gorgeous space with plenty of room to spread out and use different parts of the space for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. The brick is gorgeous and the AXIS team is really flexible when it comes to decor - minimal restrictions compared to a lot of venues! Melissa and Erin are also so lovely to work with. They’re super friendly, responsive to questions, and easy to communicate with. No complaints about AXIS and would definitely recommend it to others!

We got married at Axis and had an incredible experience working with Erin and Melissa. They were so friendly and helpful, and so responsive to all of my (many) emails. The space itself is beautiful, perfect for the downtown industrial vibe we were going for. We were able to reserve the alleyway for cocktail hour and our guests loved the indoor/outdoor option. The space if perfect to transition between ceremony and reception, lots of dancing room, big open bar. I can’t say enough good things about this venue. It was the wedding of my dreams.

We were searching for a wedding venue that would reflect our artistic backgrounds, so AXIS Pioneer Square was the perfect match for us! I had walked under the tall ceilings and beautiful brick arches of this space on numerous occasions while exploring the First Thursday art walks, so when I found out that it was a wedding venue as well as an art gallery, I knew it was the one. The location in the historic heart of Seattle would be the ideal place to gather our families visiting from California and Ohio to give them an authentic experience of the city where we fell in love. Melissa and Erin were wonderful! They encouraged us to embrace the versatility of the venue and helped us envision the possibilities for customizing the layout to make our event express our creative personal styles. I planned to hang up my own paintings as well as paintings from the artists on both sides of our families. They were flexible and open-minded when helping us brainstorm locations that would work for installing a tension spinning pole so that we could make our first dance performance memorable. As an electronic musician, John loved that music didn’t have to stop until 2am and we could wrap up the night with an amazing dance party! Having access to the quaint alley abutting the venue as an outdoor space for guests to take in the night air when they needed a break from the dance floor was also a great perk. We both have large families that love to celebrate, so the venue’s capacity was a key selling point, and so was the ability to purchase our own alcohol to supply for the event! If you’re looking for an iconic wedding venue with a professional team and an artistic flair, I highly recommend AXIS!

My husband & I got married last October (2019), and it was simply the best and most incredible day. Axis Pioneer Square made this happen! We could not be more satisfied with Melissa & Erin - professional, organized, thoughtful, and extremely customer-service oriented. Not to mention the perfect city wedding venue: exposed brick, high ceilings, and Pioneer Square - WHAT A DREAM. Even my husband was swooning at the look of the venue.

We recently had our August 24 wedding at AXIS Pioneer Square. Not only was the venue itself gorgeous (everyone commented on how amazing it was!), but Melissa and Erin were so wonderful to work with at every stage of planning. They were fun, creative, and had a solution to every issue we came across. Our photos are so gorgeous because of this beautiful venue in the heart of Seattle. There are also several great photo locations right around the corner from AXIS. Book this venue!!

AXIS is beautiful. It's modern, industrial, and historic, all at the same time. You have to see it to understand! To top it off, the managers Erin and Melissa are fantastic. They are super responsive and extremely helpful. The location of the venue provides a ton of places to take photos - the versatility and location of the venue are unmatched. AXIS also has their own photography studio in-house (Urban Light Studios) so you can also choose them to photograph your entire event. We ended up getting a different photographer for the event but we got our photo booth through AXIS and the pictures came out great! Highly recommend!!

We were married at AXIS in May, 2019, and simply put, it was the most perfect night! We are so grateful that we chose this venue to gather with our friends and family. Melissa and Erin are just amazing, from touring the venue with us before booking, to being so responsive and available for any questions during the planning process! The logistics of having our wedding at AXIS were a total breeze. And the space... it speaks for itself! Beautiful and open, and made available for you to make it your own. With the help of our other vendors, the space transformed into something so uniquely "us". It was warm and inviting, simple and elegant. We held our entire wedding there... ceremony and reception, and there was ample space for everything and everyone. We loved every moment of our experience at AXIS and could not recommend this more highly for your event!

The venue was gorgeous. Axis was one of the first vendors we secured and it helped create the perfect back drop for our wedding. Erin and her team accommodated multiple visits and were very flexible considering we were coming in from out of town. The place was clean and ready for our vendors right on time. Thank you Axis! Stop looking anywhere else in the Seattle area. AXIS is such a fantastic and unique space. Melissa and Erin cannot be beat. They are both so friendly and accommodating, and they will go out of their way to make sure your event is lights out!!
We are so lucky their corner gallery was available for the date we wanted and the size for our party was perfection. They even were able to secure a permit for an "outdoor sidewalk cafe" for guests to get some fresh air! It was all magical and cannot be more thankful :)
