The knowledge, the passion, the CREATIVITY (a must), the kindness, the execution, and the commitment they both possess is truly unmatched. When I first thought about planning a wedding I knew that lighting & disco balls were absolutely a must. And Crimson Haze brought my entire vision to life, and then some. They were able to create a evening that truly felt like an adventure that each one of our guests were on. Every lighting cue & hue created another layer of energy that by the time the dance floor hit - our guests were ready to absolutely go WILD. I don't think you could ask for anything more when creating an evening full of experience & emotion. There is a reason this team has won so many awards - and many more to come. Crimson Haze did a beautiful job lighting our wedding! Clea was responsive, provided prompt estimates, and was happy to pare down our initial big ideas to accommodate our budget. She offered recommendations for what lighting would be most impactful. The team worked seamlessly with our coordinator and venue. We didn’t need to do anything! The lighting made our tablescapes and florals pop. Highly recommend.

We hired Crimson Haze to do the lighting for our wedding at WithinSodo, after seeing their work at a friend’s wedding (at the Fremont Foundry), and we are so happy we did. Their prior experience with our venue meant that they had layout diagrams ready to go. Clea was very knowledgeable and patient in communicating with us, when we went back and forth through different options that fit our needs and our budget. Our venue had a bit of an industrial look, so proper lighting helped avoid a “basement” look. We went with a mirror ball and moving headlights package, with dynamic lighting (e.g. on-site staff that controls the lighting, in sync with the band). The result was an absolutely unforgettable party, which kept everyone dancing – including our parents’ generation. Clea and her staff were friendly, professional and fun. The disco ball lighting also gave our photographer a lot to work with, and resulted in some glamorous shots.

Crimson Haze was quick to respond (even while traveling abroad!) and worked with me at the last minute when I decided I wanted uplights at our wedding, just a couple of weeks prior to the event. Their selection of lights was fantastic, and I was able to choose beautiful colors to complement our venue and wedding colors! When a slight problem arose, the company was quick to reach out and speak with me about it. I would absolutely recommend Crimson Haze if you want to add beautiful lighting to your event!

Clea and Clayton from Crimson Haze were so wonderful to work with. We had a vision to dance under twinkling disco balls and incorporate lots of fun lights in our wedding as a couple who loves going to concerts. We were deciding between a few different lighting companies but Crimson Haze had the best pricing, and from the beginning, they were the most responsive. Our DJ and venue highly recommended working with them since they are wonderful at collaborating with other vendors to bring your whole vision to life! We provided Pinterest photos of our vision and they were happy to install greenery in addition to the disco balls and even showed us a thorough floor plan of where the uplighting could go. We are so grateful and we highly recommend Crimson Haze!

Honestly, we hadn't planned on hiring for lighting; we didn’t think it was necessary and we thought that the venue was great as it was. But we happened to meet Clea at a vendor tour and we are SO GRATEFUL for that chance encounter. Having Crimson Haze light our event was one of the absolute best decisions that we made for our wedding party. It truly made such a huge impact on the event and the photos are magical! Not only did the lighting enhance everything, but working with Clea, Clayton, and Jamie was wonderful. They are professional, communicate well, and were willing to work with me on a few little extras last minute! They were so helpful, knowledgeable, and had brilliant ideas to create the event of my dreams. I highly recommend Crimson Haze.

Warning - this is going to be a pretty long and very detailed review because I am a very detailed bride (lol). I am also a fellow wedding vendor. My husband and I run The Afterparty Band, a wedding and event show band in Seattle, WA. We actually had worked with Crimson Haze on a couple of events prior to our wedding and thought - wow, what a great couple who clearly know what they're doing and clearly really truly care about the outcome of every event they light. We saw them and chatted with them at multiple industry events. We've known about them for years. We had other people and vendors recommend them. So we chatted with them about our wedding, and from the very get-go, we knew they were genuinely excited, genuinely proud of their products and service, and they genuinely cared for us and our special day. Clea and Clayton are also a strong power couple husband and wife team, so we also had that special bond and connection with them. Let's hear it for the boutique family businesses! Clea was great at communication and responsiveness. She always provided links of examples, a thorough and clear proposal for our wedding lighting, and just had the utmost professionalism. She was also very grounded and understanding. We gave them some notes and feedback about what we wanted and didn't want, and they took those notes so well and gave us exactly what we wanted, AND MORE. We hired our band to play at our wedding (of course - lol), and we added on their Dynamic lighting package, and WOW. JUST WOW. It took our performance from, "great band," to "this is the second best thing to the Taylor Swift Concert happening a couple miles away." When they say Dynamic, they mean DYNAMIC. I can't explain exactly what they used, but it was SO COOL. It really turned the band's performance into a show. We had our own private theatrical concert. And we also added the dry ice fog "dancing on the clouds," which turned our first dance into a freaking magical fairytale dream come true. We didn't even realize in the moment how absolutely freaking awesome that looked. Seeing the pictures afterward made me cry. With the sun shining through the windows, it looked like an October morning in Eastern Washington on a farm when you get low fog with sunshine coming through, and you stop and go, "This must be the work of a loving God." You couldn't see the dance floor anymore. It literally looked like we were dancing on the clouds. No joke. It was flawless and definitely in the top 5 highlights from our entire wedding day. We added on a second fog for the very end of the night for the last song (it was "Time to Say Goodbye" into "Don't Stop Believing"), and with all the colors and it being nighttime, it was such a rad and totally different look and feel for the end of the night. The best part was I forgot that we added these fog moments on, and then they just happened right when they were supposed to, and I was surprised and delighted by it all. I highly highly recommend that add-on (do it twice, too!). Also, they hadn't done lighting at The Edgewater Hotel (our wedding venue) before, so they went there ahead of time to make sure they had everything they'd need. They came back with some suggestions and made everything look really great. With the very dramatic side lighting coming in from the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Olympic Ballroom, their lighting was SOOO important. We had actually done a wedding there two weeks prior to our wedding, and that couple did not hire a lighting company, and everything was drastically shadowed. You couldn't see anything, and it was very difficult for the photographer to capture everything without it being too dark or too bright. We had beautiful tables with records for chargers (it was obviously a very music-themed wedding - lol), candles, big flowers, signs, etc., and all of it would have been lost on the side opposite the light source. Instead, because of Crimson Haze and their expertise and the pin spots, you could see it all. Side note, you know you have an experienced professional vendor when you completely forget that they're there, but all these magical things are happening around you. That was Crimson Haze. We don't have a single complaint about them. Only things we loved. (And we can't say that about every vendor we hired). If it's in the budget to have some lighting at your wedding, do it and go with Crimson Haze. You won't be sorry or regretful. You will feel absolutely cared for and in good hands. They are one of those rare vendors (and I say this because we consider ourselves one of these rare vendors as well; after being in the business for a number of years, you just know) who go above and beyond for their clients. They keep their standards high, and they don't allow for any "oh well, it doesn't matter's." Have a consultation meeting with them. Just meet them. You'll see. They continually win awards for a reason (or several reasons, really).
