The Century Room offers gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape. The building itself also features high ceilings, exposed wood trusses, and brick walls that work together to create a wonderful atmosphere for you and your guests. The room also features an HD projector with a 120-inch screen available for HD TV, PowerPoint presentations, or your personal DVD or musical presentation. There’s also a central audio system with a wireless microphone for presentations, speeches, and ambient music. This historic space can accommodate up to 250 people for a cocktail event or 180 people for a seated dinner event.

Their reception site fee includes rental of the event room with seating for up to 250 people, a full-service bar, in-house catering services, and a private room for members of the bridal party. After much research and visiting a ton of places, we chose the Century Room for our rehearsal dinner. We cannot express how unbelievable and perfect our night was. The planning process with Chandler was beyond easy and enjoyable. She helped me with every aspect, even things that had nothing to do with her or the venue. She would respond to every single question or request immediately and we were beyond impressed by her and her work! We love her! =)Sent on 05/08/2016
The day of the event was even more impressive (if that's possible). The FOOD!!! Our guests are still talking about the food!!! Most guests were from Miami or big cities, aka spoiled by top cuisine and restaurants....all were shocked by the food. The atmosphere blew everyone away. If you haven't seen pictures or visited the event space, please do! You will love it and not look any further for your event! The service and staff were simply amazing. Unfortunately, we live in Miami, FL. If not, I would be set with a venue for every occasion in life. Chandler can turn the Century Room into an elegant wedding or strip it down and help you throw a casual BBQ party. It has been a couple months and we still talk about Chandler and the Century Room. The atmosphere of this venue was perfect for us! The exposed brick and lighting of the Century room was so beautiful that you don't need to go crazy with decorations. Also the food was AMAZING!! I don't know how many compliments we got about the food, but everyone (even the vegetarians liked it). The location right downtown is perfect so you can wander to other bars after the wedding and it's close to hotels. Lizzy was very responsive and helpful throughout the planning. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone getting married!

We are so grateful to have chosen the Century Room for our wedding reception! The event space is gorgeous, the service was fantastic, and the value was excellent compared to the many other venues I checked out in the Asheville area. Julie and Lizzy were so professional and prompt in answering our (numerous!!!) questions and helping us plan so many details of our reception. Having them on my team made me feel so at ease, even though I was planning my destination wedding from Florida. Lizzy and Tabitha did a fantastic job in executing the event, and our reception turned out to be more beautiful than I had imagined! The food was fantastic and they happily accommodated our vegan guest's food preferences. Our guests were so impressed with you all (and so were we!), and we cannot thank you enough for helping make our wedding day magical.
The Century Room is an excellent place in the heart of downtown Asheville for events - whether a rehearsal dinner and welcome party, or wedding and reception. The food is excellent. The staff are professional and experienced. So much is included that all a client really needs are some flowers and accessories to dress it up. The best part about this place is the option for guests to adjourn downstairs after the event and enjoy Pack's Tavern, or to take a short walk and enjoy everything Asheville has to offer.
The Century Room is such a lovely space for your special event with the open floor plan it is very spacious and the view of the downtown is beautiful! Often we will provide hair and makeup services at a local Hotel or Airbnb if the bride is using this space for her ceremony or reception!
