The Century Room is a wedding venue located in Asheville, North Carolina with views of Pack Square Park. With all inclusive wedding and rehearsal dinner package prices starting at $105 per person (plus facility rental fee), we offer easy to understand pricing covering almost everything you need for your special event: tables, chairs, linens, set-up, appetizers, choice of meal service, dessert, beverages, full service bar and more! A historic venue, it is nestled downtown and can play host to a variety of wedding-related events.
Facilities and Capacity
When couples walk into The Century Room, they are greeted by lofty ceilings accented by wood trusses and brick walls, creating a sense of sophistication. This classic setting can accommodate up to 180 seated guests or up to 250 for a standing reception. The ballroom also features a full-service bar as well as a kitchen for serving everything from hors d'oeuvres to dessert. An additional suite is available which can be used as a dressing room or as a break room. This versatile locale makes it easy for couples and their guests to unwind and immerse themselves in the festivities. The banquet hall is also suited to engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and more.
Services Offered
When planning a special day at The Century Room, the venue’s staff are dedicated to making orchestrating the event simple and straightforward. They offer the use of A/V equipment for playing sentimental slideshows as well as a central audio system that can be used for ambient music and speeches. Both bar and catering services are a part of their event packages and serving styles include plated, buffet, and more. Centerpieces, drapery, decor, along with tables and chairs are among the event rentals provided by the talented staff. The ballroom’s event planner can assist couples as they arrange the details of their special occasion.

Beautiful Venue with Amazing Staff
Couldn't Have Picked Better!
My husband and I were also blown away by the "house" beer selection. We expected a few domestic beers for our guests to be able to choose from and instead we were offered everything Asheville had to offer.
And, the food. Oh my, the food. Five months later and it's the most mentioned aspect of our wedding! We chose a selection of brisket, bbq, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, etc, and Pack's knocked it out of the park. If you've eaten at Pack's Tavern, then you know what to expect and you will not be disappointed!
Due to the nature of a Pandemic Wedding, we had to work within Covid-19 protocols, but it was a painless experience for my husband and I, as well as our guests. Honestly, we hardly noticed and would not call them an inconvenience in the slightest.
Also, the event coordinator, Tabitha, was a pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions, kept us up to date on the ever-changing Covid-19 mandates, and did her best to help us know what to expect. She was extremely helpful!
Our experience with Pack's Tavern was everything we had hoped for and more. We wouldn't have changed a thing!

The Century Room is an excellent place in the heart of downtown Asheville for events - whether a rehearsal dinner and welcome party, or wedding and reception. The food is excellent. The staff are professional and experienced. So much is included that all a client really needs are some flowers and accessories to dress it up. The best part about this place is the option for guests to adjourn downstairs after the event and enjoy Pack's Tavern, or to take a short walk and enjoy everything Asheville has to offer.
The Century Room is such a lovely space for your special event with the open floor plan it is very spacious and the view of the downtown is beautiful! Often we will provide hair and makeup services at a local Hotel or Airbnb if the bride is using this space for her ceremony or reception!
