Cheyenne and Kendall were incredible. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I only wish I’d found them sooner. Their 90 day coordination package got us from a random list of vendors to a fully baked plan. I think the full planning would have been an even better value.


During the pre-wedding prep, they found multiple ways to improve my contracts and used their relationships to ensure I got the best price for my gaps (e.g., not yet having sourced a bouquet). Cheyenne also designed our ceremony backdrop taking a very general brief and executing beautifully and under budget. They also navigated our family very well and made everyone feel heard during the planning process.


On the wedding day, because Cheyenne and Kendall were so on top of the event, my husband and I had no idea of any kinks in the road (we heard later there were a few minor ones). I was so impressed by their professionalism and really enjoyed working with both of them!

Sweet Oak Events is truly amazing! We hired them for our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, and wedding, and they made every single moment unforgettable. Each event was beautiful, seamless, and full of joy. The planning process felt so easy because of their guidance, and the vendors they recommended were absolutely perfect. Let me start off by saying that I’m a graphic designer. So, by nature, I’m the epitome of picky when it comes to style, creative, storytelling and purposeful design.

I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted out of my wedding and certain things that were going to be pivotal to set the mood. I didn’t want to do anything expected or usual. That’s just not me. So when we decided to spend some of our budget on a planner I knew it needed to be someone who was going to be as meticulous about the details AND the creative, open about the uniqueness I was going for and down to collaborate with me being a fellow creative doer and thinker. After all, I wasn’t going to be able to look over anything the day of so this was extremely important to me.

My first meeting with Cheyenne I knew I was going to be in good hands. We talked about all my creative anal tendencies LOL and her personality was so warm, welcoming and open! Even when I threw my off the cuff ideas at her she was down and ready to find a way to make it happen. A woman after my own creative heart! Any time I had questions or needed some advice with something she was quick to respond and help me navigate any roadblocks.

I really enjoyed our creative collaboration and was thankful to be able to see her as a partner in making my vision come true! I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Everything was beautiful, ran so smoothly and was just so much fun. I couldn’t stop smiling the whole day!! I know I couldn’t have pulled it off without her. Cheyenne is amazing!!
