Cheyenne and Kendall were truly the biggest blessing throughout our wedding planning process. I’m still in shock that they were able to take our vision for our dream wedding and bring it to life so perfectly. Every detail felt personal and intentional, and the entire day was more beautiful than we could have imagined.
From selecting vendors and refining the design to flawlessly executing the wedding day, they guided us through every step with confidence and care. They made the planning process feel easy and stress-free, always offering support, expertise, and reassurance when we needed it.
To this day, I honestly don’t know if anything went wrong because everything felt absolutely seamless. If there were any issues behind the scenes, they handled them so well that we never knew about them.
Cheyenne and Kendall are kind, organized, professional, and incredibly talented. We truly cannot recommend them enough. If you’re looking for planners who will treat your wedding like it’s their own and make your dream day a reality, these are your girls! -

Wonderful Wedding Planners
We had the most wonderful experience with Sweet Oak Events! Cheyenne and Kendall made the entire wedding planning process feel completely seamless and stress-free from start to finish. Their ideas were so creative, thoughtful, and beautiful, and they truly brought our vision to life in ways that exceeded our expectations.
On the day of the wedding, I was able to fully enjoy every moment because they had absolutely everything handled. Every detail was organized perfectly, and their communication and coordination with vendors made the whole day run so smoothly. They work with such incredible vendors who truly go above and beyond for their couples.
What I appreciated most was how easy they made the planning process for us. They took care of all the hard work and logistics, while still making sure our preferences and vision were at the center of everything. Cheyenne and Kendall are not only incredibly talented, but also so kind, thoughtful, and passionate about what they do — and it really shows.
I would highly recommend Sweet Oak Events to anyone looking for a wedding planner who will make the entire experience enjoyable, organized, and unforgettable! Our wedding was the best day ever! -

She made the entire planning process enjoyable and fun, all while being incredibly organized and deeply dedicated to every detail. Amazing Adaptable Wedding Planners
Cheyenne and Kendall were incredible. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I only wish I’d found them sooner. Their 90 day coordination package got us from a random list of vendors to a fully baked plan. I think the full planning would have been an even better value.
During the pre-wedding prep, they found multiple ways to improve my contracts and used their relationships to ensure I got the best price for my gaps (e.g., not yet having sourced a bouquet). Cheyenne also designed our ceremony backdrop taking a very general brief and executing beautifully and under budget. They also navigated our family very well and made everyone feel heard during the planning process.
On the wedding day, because Cheyenne and Kendall were so on top of the event, my husband and I had no idea of any kinks in the road (we heard later there were a few minor ones). I was so impressed by their professionalism and really enjoyed working with both of them! -

If you're looking for a wedding planner who is communicative, proactive, and down-to-earth, Cheyenne and the Sweet Oak Events team are right for you. Cheyenne really took the time to get to know us as a couple and learn our style, to the point where she was able to predict practically everything we wanted from a design standpoint. You can see this dedication and intentionality in each of her weddings -- no two weddings look the same, and there's nothing cookie cutter about her work. She took the wedding planning process from daunting and overwhelming to methodical and fun by breaking all the to-do items down according to appropriate timing and priority, so I never found myself asking "Should we be doing this right now?" I'm a huge checklist person and so is Cheyenne, so being able to easily refer to all of her timeline breakdown checklists was so helpful. Our wedding day was beautiful and we heard from so many guests how personalized to us it felt, which is exactly what we wanted to hear. Thank you Cheyenne and team! -

Sweet Oak Events is the BEST in wedding planning!
Sweet Oak Events did an amazing job bringing everything we envisioned together!! I never expected our wedding to look and feel as magical as it did! Cheyenne is the absolute best and is sooo organized and truly walked us through the wedding planning process! We truly could not have done it without Cheyenne! Sooo many people said that the wedding represented us sooo well and I am beyond grateful for Cheyenne and the amazing vendor recommendations she gave us! Cheyenne organized and designed the most perfect magical Christmas blush wedding that all of our guests loved so much! If you are debating a wedding planner, trust me you can't do it yourself if you want to enjoy the day! Cheyenne made sure my family and I were aware of each next step and kept us on track for wedding day to run smoothly! Cheyenne and Sweet Oak Events made our wedding day dreams come true! She is truly the perfect person and the Fairy Godmother of weddings. We interviewed dozens of wedding planners and designers before deciding on Cheyenne. She was the first vendor we booked and we gave her a crazy task; a fairy tale wedding with classic elegance and our own touches. She worked with us for a year and a half to give us our perfect day. She and her team were perfect. Everything was taken care of, she worked so hard to make everything better than we imagined. She gave us a dream team of vendors and helped us stay within budget but gave us more than we expected. If you’re thinking about hiring Cheyenne and Sweet Oak Events stop thinking and just do it. You wont regret it. Our wedding was a reflection of us as a couple and the best day of our lives so far. Our friends and family that attended the wedding can’t stop talking about it! Let me start off by saying that I’m a graphic designer. So, by nature, I’m the epitome of picky when it comes to style, creative, storytelling and purposeful design.
I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted out of my wedding and certain things that were going to be pivotal to set the mood. I didn’t want to do anything expected or usual. That’s just not me. So when we decided to spend some of our budget on a planner I knew it needed to be someone who was going to be as meticulous about the details AND the creative, open about the uniqueness I was going for and down to collaborate with me being a fellow creative doer and thinker. After all, I wasn’t going to be able to look over anything the day of so this was extremely important to me.
My first meeting with Cheyenne I knew I was going to be in good hands. We talked about all my creative anal tendencies LOL and her personality was so warm, welcoming and open! Even when I threw my off the cuff ideas at her she was down and ready to find a way to make it happen. A woman after my own creative heart! Any time I had questions or needed some advice with something she was quick to respond and help me navigate any roadblocks.
I really enjoyed our creative collaboration and was thankful to be able to see her as a partner in making my vision come true! I couldn’t have asked for a better day. Everything was beautiful, ran so smoothly and was just so much fun. I couldn’t stop smiling the whole day!! I know I couldn’t have pulled it off without her. Cheyenne is amazing!! -

Working with Cheyenne was the best decision we made. She helped us plan a wedding in North Carolina all the way from our home in Brooklyn, NY. She listened to and valued every idea we had, while helping us spin those ideas into a beautiful reality on our wedding day. SOE did event management for our wedding and did an amazing job! As a bride with a full-time job trying to plan a wedding and not knowing fully what it entails, Cheyenne was so helpful with suggestions and recommendations and answered all the questions that I had which made the planning process so much easier. The Aisle Planner software that is used is so organized and includes a very detailed checklist. Then 3 months before the wedding, Cheyenne was fully involved tying up loose ends, double checking our contracts, coordinating all of our vendors, etc. What would've been a very stressful time was actually so easy with Cheyenne and Madison working behind the scenes. The day-of, Cheyenne helped make our vision come to life flawlessly (including displaying all of my signage and installing my seating chart design). I just brought our items/decor in bags and boxes (some not even labeled) and she found everything and put it where it belonged--no questions asked. She brought us drinks after the ceremony and helped me bustle my dress for cocktail hour. I was at ease the entire day knowing everything was taken care of. For all the things that could go wrong at a wedding, I am so relieved that we didn't experience any of it. Our wedding was PERFECT, and our guests had a great time. Cheyenne is the sweetest, and I am so grateful she was a part of our special day. -

Cheyenne and her team were nothing short of perfection! I would refer them to anyone getting married over and over again. Cheyenne was ALWAYS very prompt in her response when I had a question and was always willing to help have the hard conversations if needed when working with our other amazing vendors. You aren't just going to get a beautifully, well thought out, perfect day. Cheyenne thinks about every single tiny detail to make your life easier and she will become a wonderful friend throughout the process! -

She planned and coordinated the most beautiful day with an unparalleled eye for detail, minute-by-minute logistics coordination, and endless personal touches all wrapped up in southern charm and love. Cheyenne has a unique way of lighting up every room she walks in and her ability to make you feel like you are her only couple is truly extraordinary. She was more than our planner, she was our friend, and she took care of us like we were her family. We cannot thank her enough for the countless hours and dedication she poured into our wedding. Even our guests fell in love with her and my whole bridal party wants to be her best friend. Don't let her sweetness fool you though, Cheyenne gets it done and is your biggest advocate through every step of the process. Sweet Oak Events is the way to go, hands down. -

Where do I even begin with Cheyenne and Sweet Oak Events?! I truly cannot explain how amazing Cheyenne was throughout wedding planning and the day of! These pictures will speak to the kind of wedding planner and person Cheyenne is: kind, bubbly, patient, warm, encouraging - I could go on and on and on. She successfully managed to get the ring bearer and flower girl (who are both under 2!!) to walk down the aisle, a feat not for the faint of heart! Our day truly could not have gone more perfectly and we will be forever indebted to Cheyenne for everything she did for us and ensuring our day ran seamlessly, and that it did! It was everything we had dreamt of and so much more. We cannot recommend Sweet Oak Events enough! -

When bridal dress shopping, we happened upon Cheyenne, thankfully. Before meeting Cheyenne, we were not planning on having a wedding planner or coordinator, but were considering a day-of coordinator. Luckily, Cheyenne had her card on her and gave it to us, explaining that it was a lot more work than we thought it was going to be…she was right.
Fast forward a couple weeks, my mom and I had a meeting with Cheyenne. After this, we were set on having her help us! She gave me initial peace of mind and had so many resources for us, even after booking some of our vendors. When I needed help with recommendations for rentals and makeup, she provided references and helped in every way. She also helped bring my vision to life, which was something I really struggled with. She checked in along the way and ensured that I was on the right track, even when I thought I wasn’t. She also handled so many moving parts before and during the wedding with all of our vendors, which saved us so much time, energy, and stress and really allowed my husband and I, and my family to relax and enjoy the wedding day.
My wedding would not have been as perfect as it was without Cheyenne’s help. The table settings and placement were perfect. The day ran so smoothly and if there was a hiccup, I didn’t know about it. She was there for us throughout the day whenever we needed anything, and I know did so much more than we saw behind the scenes. All in all, if we didn’t have Cheyenne, I truly don’t know how the day would have gone, but something would have been missed/forgotten/etc.
If you are looking for a wedding planner, Cheyenne is fantastic! She will help bring your vision to life and provide you with so many resources. She truly is a wealth of knowledge and helped us so much! I will recommend her to everyone planning a wedding. -

Cheyenne is THE wedding planner you need to work with!
Cheyenne at Sweet Oak Events quite literally made my dream wedding a reality. If you are getting married I am BEGGING you to work with Cheyenne to make it happen. From the moment we met her, she went to work. Everything from booking vendors, seating charts, sending and tracking our invites to coordinating on the day of - she does it all! She helped us plan the most beautiful event in only 4 months! On top of that, it was an outdoor event that needed everything you could imagine but she made it happen and made it look easy. Lastly, there were NO emergencies... for me! There were a few things that went "wrong" but I didn't hear about them until after Cheyenne already found a solution. I would get a call that said "Hey, this went wrong and here's how I fixed it." Talk about peace of mind! If you can't tell, I love Cheyenne -
