We are a food truck, Piko Street Kitchen, and we worked with Lindsay Gaeta on a wedding this past weekend. She was great to work with as she was very responsive, she was well organized, she thought about contingencies beforehand, such as weather, just in case things did not run as planned and she was very detailed without being overbearing. We have catered many weddings and this was as well organized and as smoothly run as any wedding that we served at. (From the outside the reception appeared to be beautiful as well but as we were outside serving food I feel that I should not comment on that aspect of the wedding.) Thanks for all your help Lindsay! If you are reading through reviews trying to choose the best planning company, look no further. Storybook was one of many planning/coordination companies I looked into when planning our wedding and there was no one I felt more comfortable leaving in charge of our big day. I am super detail oriented and thought I had everything squared away until Lisa stepped in and uncovered everything I hadn't even thought about. Lisa's knowledge of the wedding industry is unparalleled and her calm disposition instilled confidence that anything that popped up on or before the big day would be dealt with perfectly. I could not recommend Lisa & Storybook enough. I will be passing their information along to every single girlfriend and relative I have. Truly worth every penny.

As weddings go, you try to plan everything down to the last detail of what you want to get done. We are very artistic people and love to decorate ourselves. We had planned on doing a mockup of the entire decor in the dinner and reception venue space. Of course how time flies and there is never enough time to do everything. We were only able to send Nicole pictures of the individual inventory. With full trust in Nicole and her teammate Lisa, we left the decor all to them to set up the day of the event. To our amazement it was better than we could have ever imagined! To this day I still get a chill inside remembering when we first walked in the room and saw everything. It was like walking into Willy Wonka’s Chocolate factory, truly a blessing.
We had so many moving parts to our wedding event but somehow Nicole and her team stayed very cool and took care of everything. They took care of the coordinating of all the vendors, time list/itineraries, and day of events. One of the things that stood out to us was how efficient and quick Nicole’s response time was. We would literally be on the phone having a conversation about the details leading up to the wedding and I would hang up the phone and 5 mins later a follow up recap email would appear in our inbox. That’s when I knew we chose the right wedding coordinator.
Nicole wasn’t just a friendly efficient business woman; she was a person who truly cared about us and our special day. She even made sure we had a third assistant that was dedicated to just Arturo and I on the day of the wedding so we wouldn’t have to stress out about anything. I truly could go on and on about every small detail of how they made our day perfect, but there aren’t any words that could really express our gratitude towards Nicole and her team. All we can say is that we were blessed to have come across “Story book Weddings & Events” and Nicole. Our special day was made magical and we gained an amazing friend that we hope to keep in our lives foreve
