All of the staff at Stony Point went above and beyond to help make my wedding day special and flow smoothly. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and I would highly recommend it for any bride who is thinking about getting married there!

A very cool venue that really allowed us to make our wedding what we wanted it to be. Lucretia was super helpful and answered all of our questions (no matter how dumb) and really made the entire process very smooth and easy. The freedom we had to arrange and do what we wanted/needed for the ceremony was fantastic and several guests commented that they wished their venues had given them the same freedom for their weddings. Definitely a great place to hold the celebration for your special day.

Greg and I had our wedding on 4/2/2022 and could not have asked for a better location and staff. Lucretia and Team went above and beyond to make sure everything went as planned. They are willing to step in and give suggestions to make everything run smoothly. These are the kindest people you will meet who are truly committed to making sure your wedding day goes off without a hitch. We hired Stacy to help with the vendor planning and after wedding clean up. They did an amazing job and took care of all the cleanup and packing. The venue so beautiful and you can really make the space into whatever you are looking for on your special day.

I couldn't imagine having had my wedding anywhere else. The venue owner is laid back, easy to contact, cares about giving their customers the best experience and made sure we had to best day possible. More than enough space for my 150 guests. Very affordable. Beautiful outside and inside to hold both the ceremony and reception. Enough room for the DJ, photobooth, banquet tables and guests. The bridal suite was the perfect place to gather and prepare for the ceremony and grand entrance for reception. Would highly recommend to any newly engaged couple to snag a date to reserve!

I recently had my wedding on 3/11/2017 at Stony Point Hall. Since the first time I visited this venue, I fell in love! I like that you can basically do whatever you want as far as vendors and decorations, it's like a blank canvas and your vision comes to light. Lucretia was super helpful with any questions I had and I loved that she had items to rent for decorating. Originally, we were going to have our ceremony outside but unfortunately weather didn't permit but the inside still came out gorgeous! I would highly recommend Stony Point Hall for your reception/ceremony.

Stony Point Hall is the perfect place for your wedding. I was absolutely set on a venue that would cater to my DIY attitude and smaller budget, and Stony Point Hall is that and more. Lucretia was incredibly helpful from beginning to end, recommending ideas (everything from decoration to great photography spots on the property), our officiant and ways to save money here and there. Possibly the best thing for us was the store room on site that carries various decorations – perfect for those little last minute things that you will ultimately forget about. I had glass clusters for centerpieces, and I was able to run up to the stock groom and grab small additions to really help fill them out.
We loved having access to the historic barn on site for bride and groom photos, and the field next to the site gave us some beautiful sunset shots. The property offered so many different photo ops, we didn’t have to leave to take any of our wedding party photos – all were on site and they still came out looking varied and unique.
Stony Point will set up your tables and chairs, and that is a huge help. We invited about 175 people (around 100 showed up), and we were able to strike tables and chairs to allow more room up until the morning of.
We were very budget conscious for our wedding, and Stony Point was the best value we could find. We had access to the site the night before, which allowed for rehearsal at the venue plus dinner plus decorating, and we had the site 8am – 1am day of – which was something I could not find in Kansas City for the price Stony Point offered.
I am so happy with my experience with Stony Point Hall. It was affordable, stress free, and let us be out in the country without being too far from civilization (The wedding party stayed in Baldwin City – a five minute drive from the venue). Lucretia was amazing – so helpful and always available for questions and concerns. You will not be disappointed with this venue!

Lucretia is a total pro. This venue was a joy to work with. I loved the country setting, and Lucretia has set it up to be a wonderful place for getting ready and taking pictures. The scenery is picturesque, and she's got a number of places to go take photos beforehand. There's also a great little space for getting ready beforehand. Also, the venue is totally affordable! She supplies anything you need, like linens or rentals. She's got loads of decorations. Also, the decor inside is already pretty cool and requires minimal decorations. I would totally recommend her to anyone who asked!
