Connie and Steve Brown purchased this stunning property in 2016, renovating this 2,400-square-foot space to act as the perfect location for special occasions. The Brownstone Topeka has a maximum guest capacity of 200 guests, with modern furnishings including an original salt-grazed block silo that features a circular wine cellar and bar. For outdoor events, a glamorous limestone patio with a built-in fireplace ensures that your big day is a memorable one. The Brownstone Topeka also makes ease-of-access a priority for events, allowing guests to avail of ample parking spaces and full wheelchair accessibility.

Unbelievably Beautiful

The whole experience was fantastic. The pricing was great, the options were open and inclusive, The design team knocked it out of the park. I highly recommend them. I had no idea what to even tell them and they made it beautiful. They were open and communicated quickly with me every time. They were reliable and the whole day was dream come true. I recommend them highly. They are wonderful and will honestly bring your dreams to life.

Dream Venue

Absolutely beautiful venue and such an amazing and welcoming team!! Worked with the amazing Margarita for my event design which was everything I dreamed of. Also had Mary as my event coordinator, who really just made the day so Smooth and kept me calm lol. It truly was such a beautiful day! Couldn't have asked for a better venue!

Perfect place for a wedding!

We loved everything about the Brownstone. They have tons of options for seating, with lots of good indoor/outdoor space. All of the staff is very helpful and they offer a lot of help with the planning process. There’s nothing I would change about this place, all the guests at our wedding kept commenting on how pretty is was!

Amazing Experience!!

I could not be more thrilled with our Brownstone experience! In the photo where my hair is being curled, that was the marvelous Judy. My hair’s curls almost immediately dropped out of my hair, and my hairstylist scooted out of the bridal lounge so quickly she didn’t even say bye! Judy found a curling iron and got my hair looking great again. She went way above and beyond what I could have wished for in a day of coordinator. We did the mimosa and parfait add on for the morning and I would also highly recommend doing that.

A Wonderful Wedding Venue

Our wedding was literally a dream come true here!! When I first saw pictures of The Brownstone online, I instantly fell in love with it. Then I read about the back story and I KNEW we had to get married here, especially with both of us being KState grads. It felt like fate! Our day went incredibly smooth. No complaints about the staff. Our coordinator was Margarita and she was fantastic. There was never a moment she wasn’t making sure everything was happening when it was supposed to be and how it was supposed to be. Which was so incredibly helpful. We elected to have our ceremony inside so we had to have a room flip after the ceremony. This too went very smoothly. We moved all the guests to the downstairs to enjoy snacks and the staff did their magic. The only complaint I can think of was the alcohol package and having to pay for guests that are way under legal age. It obviously wasn’t enough of a big deal to send me away, just a heads up. Other than that, it was an awesome day. Our entire day was PERFECT and I highly recommend them!!

Excellent service, made our day absolutely perfect!

When I first went and toured The Brownstone I knew it was the perfect venue for us. The outdoor ceremony options with beautiful wood work and amazing attached silo bar on the inside was so pretty, it was my dream venue. We booked and went through rescheduling due to the pandemic, the office team was awesome at accommodating our needs throughout the entire process. They have awesome options at rentals that my guest really enjoyed such as the floral swing and outdoor games on the patio. Our decoration were a simple touch and the space felt so romantic on our special day. Our event coordinators were awesome, we had Judy in the morning that had a mimosa buckets and beer buckets ready to go and our afternoon coordinator was Margarita, she is super detailed and was fantastic through out the entire process. We had so many of our guest compliment our venue and how beautiful it was and how much history it had. We wouldn't have changed a single thing about our special day. Ladies looking for an amazing venue at a reasonable price, look no further The Brownstone is what you want!

The most amazing venue with the best staff

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Brownstone at the end of September, and it could not have been more beautiful. The staff at the Brownstone were AMAZING. They helped us with every question and concern that we had and made sure our big day went off without a hitch. They made sure the venue was absolutely perfect, and we could not be more thankful for how gracious, accommodating, and flexible they were.

Rustic Charm with Great Service

o The Brownstone was the perfect place to have our wedding. We originally picked The Brownstone for its rustic charm. After we began the planning process, The Brownstone staff was nothing but great! Because we live out of town, they were fantastic about accommodating tours and meetings. They took time to go through every last detail in the weeks going into the wedding to make sure they could help make everything run smoothly. On the day of, the staff went above and beyond. Just an hour before the (outdoor) ceremony, torrential down pour forced us to move inside. Luckily, The Brownstone staff made the swap flawless! They even stood in the pouring rain holding umbrellas so that we could get a few outside pictures. From grabbing towels to moving tables, everyone was so great! The beautiful barn is why we picked The Brownstone, but the staff working tirelessly to make our day perfect was what makes the Brownstone so great!
