About this venue
The Ranch House Wedding Venue and Events Center is a wedding venue located in Lyndon, Kansas. From spring 2024, the management of this barn and farm property invites couples to make this the setting for their special celebrations.
Facilities and Capacity
The Ranch House Wedding Venue and Events Center will accommodate couples and their guests. This is a contemporary barn-styled venue, befitting a country wedding. The venue will be a white 60’ X 120’ building with a black roof and currently has an approximate capacity of 299 guests. The interior will be finished out with white shiplap, accent walls in either brick, stone, or texture, chandeliers, a nice bar with great lighting, a kitchen with a refrigerator, a warming oven, and a large island to prep food or flowers. It will have covered front and back patios leading out to the beautiful scenery for an outdoor wedding location. It will have accessible restrooms, a groom’s room with a big-screen TV, and an entrance to the men’s bathroom. Last but certainly not least, it will have a bridal suite loft for you and your bridesmaids to get ready in, with a beautiful stairway, natural lighting, a minimum of four makeup stations with great lighting to do hair and makeup, a lounge area to relax, a place for your bridal gown to hang, a private restroom, and doors leading out to the balcony to overlook your guests. There will also be bedrooms available for 20 of your nearest and dearest to stay the night after the celebrations.

It is right off Highway 75, just 30 minutes south of Topeka, 30 minutes north of Burlington, 30 minutes east of Emporia, and 30 minutes west of Ottawa. The Ranch House
The outdoor area of the venue is stunning, with rolling hills in the background and the sunset visible from the large back patio area. It is peaceful and serene with great locations for outdoor photos all around the venue as well. The inside is just as lovely with beautiful chandeliers, a wood ceiling, and plenty of room for guests. We had about 240 guests and did not feel crowded in the slightest. Our caterers also had more than enough room to work with in their large kitchen. The bridal suite area is an amazing space with big windows, plenty of mirrors, a private bathroom, and lots of space (we had 10-12 people in the room at any given time while getting ready). We also loved that the venue itself is a newer build. It can easily accommodate many different looks for a wedding and the staff helped us pick a floor layout for tables and chairs that fit exactly what we were hoping for.
The staff were easy to work with, personable, and such a blessing to us on our wedding day as they helped things transition smoothly (and even had backups when some of the equipment we brought ourselves wasn’t working properly). Every question we had they were quick to answer and offered great answers and solutions. They also know the area very well which was beneficial to us as we inquired about bartenders, airbnbs, etc. There were no hidden fees or costs, they were completely upfront and honest about everything that we inquired about. My husband and I cannot recommend this venue enough! The spaces are absolutely gorgeous and the staff are down to earth, kind, personable, and helpful.

Cozy and Luxury Experience
The decor and details were incredibly luxurious, reflecting a level of care and thoughtfulness that made everything feel special. It was clear that every aspect was handpicked with great attention to detail.
We also rented the guest house, which was a fantastic addition. It comfortably accommodated 20 of my guests, making it perfect for the after-party. We enjoyed using the house for a few days, including barbecuing and playing pool, which added to the overall experience.
The only minor drawback was that decorating a day prior wasn’t included in the package, which would have been helpful for easing last-minute preparations.
Overall, I encountered no other challenges or issues. I highly recommend The Ranch House Wedding Venue to anyone seeking a stunning and memorable setting for their special day.
A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Joy and Ms. Jacque, whose helpfulness and attentiveness made me feel like they were part of my family. Their support was invaluable in making our wedding extraordinary.
