I was so thrilled with the wedding bouquet they created for me and the help I received, that I am going to go back to them again since we're having our wedding pictures retaken. The woman who helped us was so sweet and patient, and had the eye to help me design the perfect bouquet for me. She was so great at what she did that I ended up changing my bouquet to something completely different than what I'd had in mind. I love calla lilies but I also love tropical colors. After going over photos in her sample book with me, she said she'd be right back and disappeared into the back. She came out with a free spirit Colombian rose, and paired it with some lime green and tangerine colored flowers. I never even had thought roses would be an option, but it was so perfect for the colors I told her I wanted. She suggested white and magenta calla lilies, and then suggested that we use the synthetic ones. They were so realistic (even the stems) and I was grateful for this because not only did it save us some money, but I was able to keep them as a memory of my wedding day. I'd stated that I wanted the bouquet to cascade down in the front, and they did an excellent job. I couldn't believe my eyes on my wedding day and couldn't have been happier.

This florist was great. They met with me for an hour to help me decide what would look best. Then I bugged them with a million emails because I kept changing my mind but they responded to all of them. In the end the flowers were PERFECT and just what I imagined.

The flowers were absolutely gorgeous! Cary and his team were very quick to respond to my questions and was so helpful with suggesting varieties of flowers that matched our theme. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

Breathtaking flowers, everything was so beautiful

I had previously met with another vendor in Lawrence to get flowers for the wedding and was not impressed with the service I received. After that, I went to Englewood Florist and was very happy with the service that I got there!! When I first went, I did not have an appointment and it was almost time for them to close. The owner still made some time to speak with me and make an appointment for the following week. He even assured me that the flowers could be beautiful without spending a ton of money. He suggested asking my husband for an idea of how much we wanted to spend. I looked through some books he had of flowers and showed him what I liked (he even went so far as to tell me which flowers may bother my allergies). Even after I made the decisions of what I wanted, I emailed him to let him know to add in another flower that I liked that made me go over the original flower budget I had. He said it was no problem to add in the more expensive flower to my bouquet. He also had me come in the day before the wedding so I could look at all of the flowers to make sure they were what I wanted. I got a lot of compliments on my flowers, especially my bouquet!!

We were completely wowed by Englewood's service and the arrangements they created for our wedding. After price comparison, they weren't any more expensive than other local florists (barring Dillon's and HyVee, but we wanted to stay local.) After 2 consultations, a few magazine examples and general lack of clearly explaining what I wanted, they managed to translate my vision for the day into a gorgeous arrangement. They even made the effort to stay in our price range without sacrificing the beauty of the flowers, and substituted real flowers for silk for the certain stems I loved, but was allergic to. I wish I could upload photos of how our flowers turned out! Trust me, this establishment bears checking out!

This florist was very flexible with me making changes all time and was just so personable with me as well!!
