Annie was amazing to work with! I missed an appointment, and with my job I was in and out of cell phone service. She assured me it was no big deal and that we could make it work. I ended up getting some service, called Annie, and she took my call on the spot and we worked things out! They are the BEST! Knowledgeable, affordable, and VERY professional! Being able to work with my crazy schedule was also a huge plus as well. I will definitely be using Annie again for future adventures!

We had a very small wedding, only 20 guests and all from out-of-town. We'd used the Halcyon House Bed and Breakfast many times in the past for overnight accommodations, and after we decided to have our ceremony on the KU campus with a tiny guest list, HH was an obvious choice. I believe we were one the first (if not THE first) couple to host our wedding reception there, but the staff was extremely accommodating and courteous. The rooms are beautiful, unique, and clean, and the best part was the intimate and no-stress mood of the entire reception. They do not provide catering, but do not charge for bringing in outside vendors, corking fees, etc. Their gardens are lovely for photos. A word of caution, however: this is a small establishment, and it is a house, so expect a lot of people moving around with no direction but what they want to do. Brides who need to control where everybody sits and when what will happen should seek a more formal establishment. Additionally, there's very little room for dancing, DJS, etc! The HH is close to campus and Mass. st, both great for socializing and photo ops.

Beverly gave my fiance and I unbelievable service. We had never planned a trip before and did not know much, but she was very patient and helpful! The prices she gave us for our trip are literally unbeatable!
