Wedding Dresses and Gowns in Topeka

Did not expect to find a wedding dress as I was only going to look because of the December Sample Sale. However, the shop assistance who was helping us was amazing and knew the inventory really well. She listened to all of my feed back and I was saying yes to the dress on the 4th try! Really wonderful, easy, and comfortable experience for us all.

The tuxes for our wedding looked fantastic. The tuxes we received needed no alteration, everything was in great condition. Their customer service was MUCH better than the customer service we received at their competitor (not to mention their prices were much better also). The ladies at Golden Tuxedo did a great job of letting us know all of our options and making sure we had all of our measurements done on time. LOVE that they are offering free wedding dress preservation and cleaning when you rent tuxes from them!

The staff at Celebrations was so patient and helpful during the dress shopping experience. They helped narrow down styles, and ultimately pick my dress. Hands down, the most frequent compliment I received at our reception was how beautiful my dress was. Thank you so much, ladies! We also rented our suits through them, and they did a great job of getting us any replacement pieces we needed before the event.

I married young and had very little money. For 2,000 dollars i had a dress shoes tux for my husband (rented) tux for my son (bought) and cake. Dress is so nice i am thinking of wearing it on the day we renew our vows!

Great team of professionals to work with. Were willing to work with out of state measurements and worked with all of the parties who needed to make alterations after initial fittings. Would recommend to all.

I came in 2 months before my wedding to get a bustle added to my dress and in the initial appointment we tested out several different bustle style options together, I decided on the one I liked the best, and then the dress was done and ready for pickup just a few weeks later - perfectly as discussed, discreet clear buttons, and it even came with a diagram of which hooks went on which buttons that definitely came in handy on the wedding day during bustling time. In the final appointment we found a piece of lace that was sticking out weirdly (the fault of the dress design) and they tacked it down for me as well. Sew Forth was great and I would trust them to alter anything of mine again!

When I got engaged, I knew that I would be booking an appointment at Kari’s, as this is where my older sister also found her wedding dress. I truly loved every bit of my experience at Kari’s. I loved the customer service, the overall feel, and the relationship with all the consultants (seriously, Marci is such a doll 💕). Just an amazing group of kind and supportive women. Since I had a larger group with me, they gave us our own private corner of the store with a bunch of seating for everyone, a large dressing room, and a huge mirror so I could see myself when I came out. My “entourage” was able to sit back and relax while I tired on all the beautiful gowns. I went in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted, and the consultants really listened to me and chose dresses that matched my vision, but also pulled other styles to make sure I had options. It was honestly such a fun and enjoyable experience, with coffee, water, and champagne to celebrate finding “the one.” Hands down my favorite and most enjoyable part of wedding preparations (I was so sad when it was over). The shop was clean and easy to navigate. I did not feel overwhelmed at all. Kari’s was the first and last place I went looking for my dress! I seriously cancelled all my other bridal appointments after finding my dream dress at Kari’s, and I do not regret it a bit. They were also a dream to work with during the alteration process, and when I purchased my bridal accessories and rented tuxes. I fell in love with the dress then, and I fall in love with it every time I see it in pictures and in person. I am seriously delaying getting it preserved, as I want to wear it over and over again! People ask me what my favorite part of the wedding was, and aside from getting married to the love of my life, it was getting to put on and wear a dress that was so elegant and so graceful and so sweet. Thank you so much Kari’s for making me look and feel beautiful! ❤️

This location did an awesome job and to be honest should be the only place you rent tuxedos from in Topeka. No other place would even come close to the accommodations and level of service me and others in my wedding party received. The manager, Bucky, also personally fitted my group on a busy Saturday without an appointment....I didn't know you needed one and wouldn't suggest that! Great Job.........Thanks!!

I took my dress here to get it altered, and Anne Marie was great about altering it quickly (I only gave her a few weeks) for a reasonable price, and in the end my dress fit perfectly! I won't hesitate to take any other garments I need altered here after seeing her skill with altering the seams of my silk dress.
