About this venue
Stonegate Manor Events is a garden wedding venue in Benton Harbor, Michigan, with two reception spaces and two ceremony areas! The entire space is never shared with more than one event at a time. Your day should be all about the two of you.
The moment you enter our stone gates and drive past the 1847 Victorian manor house, you will experience the magic and nostalgia of mature trees, fresh air, and beautiful landscaping. Follow our Wedding Cottage's pathway to the intimate Fairy Garden, the first of two ceremony spaces. Trees as tall as a cathedral and shade-loving foliage surround the intimate ceremony space. A vintage white arch can be decorated with your unique style, and our staff sets up 190 white padded ceremony chairs for your guests.
Continue your stroll to our timeless Pergola on the spacious sunny front lawn where larger weddings gather. Up to 250 family and friends can witness your commitment to one another!
Facilities and Capacity
Our modern, indoor, air-conditioned (or heated) reception space, the Riverside Room, can seat up to 200 guests. Our staff sets up tables and espresso-padded chairs for dining. There are vintage buffet tables for desserts, gifts, and favors. You can also choose to dine al fresco under our Estate Tent, which can accommodate up to 160 guests. A modern pergola simply separates both reception spaces. For larger crowds, combine the spaces to seat up to 250!
Extensive manicured grounds and gardens offer multiple opportunities for pictures, cocktails, conversation, and fun.

Location
Stonegate Manor sits on 12 acres of wine country and is located just 10 minutes between St. Joseph's charming downtown and Benton Harbor's art district. We're less than 2 hours from Chicago, and the venue is also less than 10 minutes from four Lake Michigan beaches! Destination weddings are most welcomed—there's so much to do and offer your guests for the weekend in SW Michigan!

Magnificent!
Full Service Venue
Petite Wedding at the Manor
Prudy absolutely exceeded our expectations. We had no worries the entire day. The decorations that came with the package were BEAUTIFUL to say the least, the venue provided a STUNNING cheese board that our guests STILL are talking about weeks later! We had a short ceremony, and a small reception under the tent, lawn games, and we decided to add on some additional details. We rented the dance floor, had a 2 hour serving from Imperial Taco truck (our guests were traveling 3 hours to the venue, so we wanted to provide them with a dinner along with the appetizer board). We did an open bar, champagne toast with short speeches, brought a polaroid camera/set up and Prudy provided a beautiful ring light/frame for us to use. Everything was absolutely perfect.
If you are on the fence of having an intimate wedding, I say just do it! I did not want to plan a lot, or worry about decor and they handled it all for me, aside from the additional details I wanted to have to make the day extra special to me and my guests (taco truck, bar, polaroids, etc). Prudy and Stonegate Manor will absolutely take care of you and all of your needs! Photos are by Megan Dywer (meggydphotography).

Stonegate is a beautiful venue with tons of history and charm. With three ceremony sites, an indoor reception space, and an outdoor tented space, this venue has tons of versatility! A great choice for couples looking for a romantic, vintage-inspired wedding! Oh-and they're pet friendly, which is pretty rare to find!
