Indoor/ outdoor awesome venue!
The staff at the Saugatuck Center for the Arts were wonderful and helped us have a beautiful day! Teresa was so kind and helpful with answering questions and coordinating the event! She worked with us to help us create the wedding we wanted :) The venue is multifaceted and offers indoor and outdoor beauty, it combines nature, art, and a modern industrial feel and offers the ability to do an indoor/ outdoor wedding - perfect for those who want to be outside but also like a back up plan with Michigan's unpredictable weather. So happy we went with this venue!

This was the perfect venue for our wedding!
Picking a wedding venue was something I dreaded most at the start of planning, and then we visited the SCA and met Teresa, and everything changed. The space, both inside and out, was absolutely perfect for our 150 guest wedding, and I can honestly say everything about the day and place was perfect. Teresa worked tirelessly with me for nearly a year, helping me to pick out the perfect wines, keeping me updated on some of the re-designs that were happening within the space, accommodating all our wacky ideas (food trucks, cramming 150 people into a space that fits 70 for a ceremony, etc.), re-answering questions that I kept asking, coordinating with vendors and my planner, and sending me photos and layouts whenever I asked. She was so thorough and helpful... I honestly felt like her only client (and she was planning an enormous community event the night before our wedding)! I also love that our wedding exposed our guests to the wonderful art and important work the SCA is doing in the Saugatuck community, and as someone who works at an Art Museum myself, I understand how much facility rentals help support the mission of the SCA organization. The rental fee (which is comparable if not less than other venues in the area) is vital to the continued success of this special place and the wonderful people, like Teresa, who work there. Not only did we throw a bad ass party in an awesome space, but we supported the arts in our own small way, and that feels good :) Looking back, I wouldn't change and thing and would 100% recommend to anyone looking to have their wedding outside and try something a bit different!
