Fantastic Wedding Welcome Event Space

Our welcome event at Stone Brewing was the perfect way to welcome folks to San Diego for our destination wedding! ! Guests enjoyed the food, music, and drinks. We held the event outside, they'd put up string lights, had a buffet ready, and tables were setup with nice tables clothes and plenty of seating. They'd taken care of everything! We're very thankful to Sydney who we were in contact for coordinating as well as all the staff on the day, we're so appreciative of the event they were able to put on for our guests!

Outdoor Wedding, Local Brews

We hosted a small and semi-casual wedding celebration at Stone Brewery last month. Lexi, who was our event coordinator contact from Stone since we started the process late last year, did an amazing job from start to finish. She was very responsive to our questions through email and we met with her twice for walk-throughs of the space to answer questions and plan.

Our event was held in Outdoor Building 12, which is located under a majestic and large tree and adjacent to a large grassy plaza inside of Liberty Station. Everything was set up and ready on time. We played our own music from an ipad and the acoustics sounded fantastic. The staff that worked with us on the day of the event was great and super friendly. Food options were great and we really enjoyed the s’mores bars. Parking is free and plentiful in liberty station.

Beautiful venue, easy scheduling and responsive staff!

The venue is beautiful and the vent coordinator is great. Responds quickly, great communication, works well with schedules when planning a visit to view and budget friendly! So many options offered you really don't need to go far for other vendors! Can't wait to celebrate our wedding here!

Stop booking over priced BS ! Choose stone!

Our first date, our anniversaries and all our special events happened at stone. My now husband proposed at stone so of course we had to get married at stone! Our event coordinator Liz Diaz was AMAZING. even if Liz wasn’t available someone was always available to help. Even tho she didn’t have to, she played the role of wedding coordinator up all the way up to I walked down the isle, the staff was amazing, they set up and broke down all the decor. The food of course was everything I hoped for and my day was perfect. I couldn’t have done it without them and they went above and beyond for us. It was the best option for us because we wanted to stay relatively on the cheap side, without going to the court house. My wedding couldn’t have been more amazing. HIGHLY recommend.

We had our rehersal dinner at Stone Brewery and we couldn’t be happier with the venue and staff! Liliana, our Event Coordinator, was super sweet, patient, and worked closely with us to ensure we didn’t exceed our budget. The atmosphere was so beautiful, and our guests were very impressed with the Peruvian Chicken, Short Ribs, and great beer and selection. Thank you Liliana for helping create our dream rehersal dinner!

Beautiful venue and surprisingly affordable

We had a great experience at Stone. This happened to be our first date, so having our wedding and reception at Stone was special to us, but it just worked perfectly. Katie, the catering and event coordinator at Stone was amazing to work with. She is organized, responds so quickly and was just fun to work with. She helped us scout out the perfect location at the venue which was the Main Garden and Upper Garden and Deck. It was beautiful, serene, and perfectly shaded for a summer outdoor wedding. The lights in the evening really make it a special spot. The food and beverage costs are very reasonable and offer a lot of selection. They offered allergy accomodations, and worked with us to make it an amazing night. Katie worked seamlessly with our vendors as well which takes a lot of the stress out of the planning. We got so many compliments on our venue, the food, the beer and more. If you are planning a small reception and/or ceremony, I highly recommend Stone in Escondido.

Great experience and perfect wedding. The one problem I had was getting the correct information. My father tried paying towards the final amount due but the website would not allow him to until it was initiated by Stone. The amount quoted for the venue should include the service fees and taxes and it should be mentioned that additional amounts could be charged in the end. We were quoted $1,400 LESS than the bill ended up being. It would have been nice to know because we were on a tight budget and that put us over. The service was great but I feel that there needs to be more upfront pricing shown.

Overall the experience at Stone was great! The staff was very attentive, the setup, and the gardens were absolutely beautiful, and the day-of went off perfectly without any issues. We loved working with Stone. The food was great, and their delicious beer kept everyone happy!

We did have some hiccups leading up to the wedding, but the day of was incredible.

In the lead-up to the wedding (~1 week beforehand), we found out pretty last minute that there would be a performance in the gardens the day before, when we were hoping to do our rehearsal. This threw a pretty big wrench in our plans as we had people flying in from out of the country, and already had made huge dinner plans for that night. Through the back and forth with Liliana we found out that the events staff and the marketing team weren't really in communication with each other, which caused the snag. In the end, they were able to ask the performer to delay starting by about 45 minutes so we could do our rehearsal, so it worked out, but was very stressful in the lead up.

The only other thing that was a little tough was that the music has to be kept pretty quiet if you want to dance, so it was hard to get a real dance party going.

Overall we had a solid experience with Stone, and hopefully the coordination between departments will be fixed for anyone after us!
