To say that Sofitel was anything short of amazing would be putting it politely. Sharon and her team took such good care of my HUSBAND and I. Her communication was something I would like to point out. Her communication was just as good in the months prior to the big day, as it was days leading up. There were no scary surprises and she was very transparent of any fees that we might run into which we never did. Very organized and straight to the point which I loved! I am from Chicago but live in San Diego, it was always my dream to have a downtown Chicago wedding. Sofitel let me live out ALL of my dreams. Planning a destination wedding comes with many challenges, we set the date with Sofitel before ever seeing it. We definitely took a leap of faith with this place and we were not disappointed. My guests could not stop raving about the accommodations that they received! The location is another aspect to brag about, it is walking distance to anything downtown which my guest also appreciated. My vendors found it easy and had no issues, and if there were issues Sharon and my planner were able to mitigate it without disturbing my morning. Definitely would recommend but make sure you read the contract!!

The Sofitel went above and beyond to accommodate all our wants and needs for our wedding reception. Jennifer was so great to work with! Extremely responsive and helpful! Also, the food was just spectacular. Everyone RAVED about the dinner!! Loved everything about the space. It was perfection!
