From design proposal to execution, I was blown away by his attention to detail, creativity, thoughtfulness, and personal touches. He timelessly incorporated my husband’s love of classic mustangs and cars into our wedding and created focal points that wowed our guests. He worked closely with our planner and all vendors to ensure every detail was perfect and I could not have imagined a more beautiful evening. I am unsure if thank you will ever suffice. Mathew Lahey is a true visionary and a pleasure to work with!! I loved the creative ideas he brought to honor our micro-wedding ceremony at the big wedding celebration. Even after 3 years of planning, we were still in love with the original designs truly proving that they were timeless. We can't than Mathew enough for all his help and pulling off an absolutely stunning wedding decor setup.

I can’t explain the joy Mal Marcus and Kehoe Designs brought to me on my wedding day. I saw Kehoe in a lot of magazines and Instagram posts and just loved the impact, creativity, and drama Kehoe brought to all of their events. I made an inquiry in 2020 for our big wedding but it was outside our budget. Obviously we postponed to 2021, but we also cut our guest list in half, which made Kehoe an option! I had a dream of hanging florals and they looked more beautiful than I imagined. We also hired Kehoe for lighting, which was really all their vision and both the ceremony and reception looked stunning. We focused on greenery for the large centerpieces, which really were unique. I would definitely recommend Kehoe if you’re interested in a vision with greenery (as opposed to flowers). Kehoe also provided a mirror welcome sign, which ended up being a bigger hit than I expected. I am so grateful to Mal for making our wedding so incredibly beautiful. She was also very responsive and great to work with! One thing I will say is Kehoe is pricey. The labor costs in particular are very high. If you’re considering Kehoe and concerned about price, this what I suggest- reduce you guest list lol. But seriously, you can do so much more with your wedding even if you just go from 150 to 100. To me, Kehoe is worth it, especially if decor is your #1 thing. If you hire Kehoe, you will have wedding decor that is unique, stunning, and joyous

Kehoe Designs went above and beyond for my wedding. I had very specific things I wanted (dramatic entrance, champagne wall, etc) and they brought my vision to life. Mathew was so amazing and so responsive. I would highly recommend Kehoe for any of your party needs!

I worked with Megan Riesenberg at Kehoe for my winter wedding, and she really pulled it off! I had a lower end budget, but still wanted something unique with tall gold candles, and they did just that. The room looked perfect! They were even able to set the ceremony space early, for my first look, which ended up being my favorite memory of the day. Would highly recommend.

Our wedding day was amazing, and the one thing our guests continue to rave about is how stunning our flowers were. Renee was amazing to work with, and she took our vision with the lighting, flowers, and decor and brought it to life. My husband and I were so incredibly pleased to walk into the reception and see perfection. Our photos, and most importantly, our memories of the day are beautiful, and Kehoe is to thank for that in many ways.

My daughter had a general idea to personalize the table settings for her wedding reception with photos of friends and relatives. In addition, she did not want to use flowers for her bouquet nor the reception centerpieces. Instead, she hired a student in the school where she teaches with a special talent for making paper flowers. So, between paper flowers and a special photo collage, we set out to find a decorator who could turn her vision into a reality.

Having interviewed designers from three different decorating companies, we found only one individual who knew exactly what she wanted and who could come up with a centerpiece vessel that displayed the photos in ways that became even more creative than we anticipated. That person was Phil Cooper from Kehoe Designs. Unlike other designers who pushed real flowers and downplayed the photo displays, Phil incorporated my daughter’s wishes - both the photo display and paper flowers - into unique, one-of-a-kind centerpieces that captivated our guests. Combined with special lighting, the display of photos used for place cards, and the classy use of drapes and candles, the spaces for the ceremony and reception at Venue SIX10 in Chicago turned out to be outstanding. Kudos to Phil for listening to my daughter’s wishes and turning them into a wonderful reality.

I can't speak highly enough about Phil and his team at Kehoe. Phil went above and beyond to make sure our day was as perfect as we had dreamed of. Although they are expensive, there is no doubt that they are worth every single penny. Plus, if you're booking with Kehoe, you're likely willing to pay for the brilliance they deliver.

Phil Cooper is a complete genius and transformed the Art Institute for our July 16, 2016 wedding. He captured the look of our wedding perfectly. It was beyond beautiful. On top of that, he is super easy to work with. Him and his coworker Megan are super responsive and worked around my budget. I would recommend Kehoe to anyone looking for a fabulous event design company. They are hands down the best in Chicago!

The flowers were above and beyond my wildest dreams. We gave Kehoe the price range and general direction, and the designer was able to take our idea and run with it fairly easily after checking out my Pinterest page. He came up with centerpieces, aisle flowers, ceremony decor, cocktail hour decor and more that was beautiful, fresh and just the right amount of casual elegance.
