Mathew Lahey at Kehoe is one of the most extraordinary people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with. From design proposal to execution, I was blown away by his attention to detail, creativity, thoughtfulness, and personal touches. He timelessly incorporated my husband’s love of classic mustangs and cars into our wedding and created focal points that wowed our guests. He worked closely with our planner and all vendors to ensure every detail was perfect and I could not have imagined a more beautiful evening. I am unsure if thank you will ever suffice. So, book Kehoe and Mathew for your event and prepare to have your breath taken away! -

Mathew Lahey is a true visionary and a pleasure to work with!! I loved the creative ideas he brought to honor our micro-wedding ceremony at the big wedding celebration. Even after 3 years of planning, we were still in love with the original designs truly proving that they were timeless. We can't than Mathew enough for all his help and pulling off an absolutely stunning wedding decor setup. -

I worked with Megan Riesenberg at Kehoe for my winter wedding, and she really pulled it off! I had a lower end budget, but still wanted something unique with tall gold candles, and they did just that. The room looked perfect! They were even able to set the ceremony space early, for my first look, which ended up being my favorite memory of the day. Would highly recommend.

We gave Kehoe the price range and general direction, and the designer was able to take our idea and run with it fairly easily after checking out my Pinterest page. He came up with centerpieces, aisle flowers, ceremony decor, cocktail hour decor and more that was beautiful, fresh and just the right amount of casual elegance. -
User1816917 Sent on 09/18/2014We loved working with Phil at Kehoe. From the beginning, he worked so hard to figure out exactly what we were looking for, and was willing to work through the difficulties of me living in California and working in the Middle East for three months before the wedding.
The look we ended up with at the Field Museum was even better than I imagined, even after being blown away by the sample showing. It all came together unbelievably well, and had the regular guests of the museum taking photos and asking about it.
Phil was so creative, so professional, so responsive, and so personable. We wanted some things that were a little out of the box, but he didn't hesitate. And he worked really hard to fall within our budget. I've said to many people that the wedding felt like much more than the sum of its parts-- seeing it all come together was so magical-- and Phil's design was one of the most integral parts of that transformation. -
User962582 Sent on 10/07/2012I was disappointed with some aspects Kehoe’s services after the amount of time and effort I put in to it. I spent countless hours on consultations, walk-throughs, and calls over the course of five months to make sure that the many details of a multi-event wedding were in place. While the consultant was always very professional and organized, there was a wall of “we can/cannot do this” that it always came down to. I appreciate that to a certain extent because it was good to know that they were professional, but when it came to the creative elements of my wedding, it felt more like I was ordering widgets and not creating something beautiful. This approach to their service was at the heart of the disappointments with the décor.
After sending pictures and discussing in excruciating detail, the flowers in my bouquet were wrong and clashed with my dress, and the garlands used for the main part of our ceremony were made from cheap chrysanthemums held together with fishing line- mine broke in the middle of the ceremony. The biggest disappointment was the lighting, which was not sufficient- guests could not see people giving speeches, our logo was stretched across the entire dance floor, and the “wash of color” in the tent made large circles on the tent walls. I had been asking about this, up until 2 days before the wedding, and always heard back that it was sufficient. They did keep reminding me we had a tight budget (which was in the $40K range), but I had made it completely clear that we were willing to add in critical places like the lighting and that we were relying on their expertise to provide what was needed. Kehoe told us that they felt a complementary one-step upgrade on our centerpieces would have made up for the botched lighting; it did not.
Décor was the most important aspect of my day and I’m sad to say that I will always look back and remember that it fell short. And even worse, that I saw it coming and felt like I couldn’t do anything about it. -

The owner allows a select few managers to run the business end of the operation FOR HIM. Without concern for business ethics or quality of work, these individuals give this company a very BAD NAME. Word to the wise, STAY AWAY ! ! !
