We worked with TW at HMR Designs to provide floral and decor for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. We really cannot recommend TW highly enough. We wanted to create a kind of unique enchanted fantasy forest vibe for our wedding, and TW knocked it out of the park. He was super responsive and incredibly patient, asked lots of helpful questions and paid close attention to our feedback, and helped us to find the line between whimsical and over-the-top. He helped us make decisions on everything from uplighting to table cloth fabric to bouquet ribbon colors and attended multiple walkthroughs with us. We were so happy with the results and received many compliments (including from our photographer, who said our table arrangements were among the top three most beautiful they had ever seen). Brittanie Ahrens from HMR was a dream come true when helping me design my wedding. As an event professional (a planner) I have dreamt of my wedding for years upon years, particularly about how it would look. However, even though I consider design a strong suit of mine, and I am able to be so creative and thoughtful about design for my clients, when it came time to put pen and paper down for myself, I always kept hitting a wall! Nothing was special enough, nothing was unique enough, everything I kept thinking of just didn't feel right. But when I finally got my initial scramble of ideas in front of Brittanie, she worked with me to create the absolute dreamiest vision that exceeded my wildest expectations. And if you ask her (as we work together often as colleagues), I have extremely high expectations. But when we walked into the venue the day of our wedding, my husband's and I's jaws hit the floor and tears flooded from my face. She some how brought to life the vision and dream I never knew I had or could be realistic. Brittanie is one of a kind - a pleasure to work with, always thinking outside of the box, and one of the happiest people you will ever meet. HMR was so amazing to work with for our wedding in October at Cafe Brauer. Brittany especially did such a great job of working within our budget to still achieve the look and feel for our big day. It only took one meeting at HMR to knock out everything we wanted and for them to actually mock up all of our tables, floral and the floral arch we got married under. On the day of the wedding, when we walked inside and finally got to see everything come together we were absolutely blown away. Everything came out even better than we envisioned and we got so many comments on how beautiful the wedding was, the floral, and everything in between. I was recommended to Brittanie Aherns and HMR designs by a family member. I had nothing but the most amazing experience working with them. Brittanie & Kelsey worked with me on vision boards and to identify and make my vision come to life. They helped me figure out what I would get the biggest bang for my buck and things I could modify or skip trying to stick to a budget. They did a design plan as well as floral plan for me. The final product was breath taking. Better than I every expected and everything I always wanted. The flowers even in a 95 degree day looked fresh and beautiful, my bouquet went days strong. They take care of absolutely everything the day of (set up, clean up, signs, candles/votives) I did not have to worry about a thing and living in the city I had no room to buy or store centerpieces accents. I just rented from them. They are amazing!

The moment I had my first meeting with Rachel at HMR I knew I wouldn't be happy with any other floral/decor vendor. HMR has a gorgeous office and although they seem aimed at high budget, extravagant wedding productions, Rachel worked with me to make my vision a reality for my 90 person intimate and romantic wedding. Rachel was very attentive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I was a pretty hands off bride and gave her my opinions and what I liked and trusted that HMR would make it happen... and that is exactly what they did. They transformed my ceremony room and reception room in the Omni Chicago Hotel into a romantic, candlelit, floral filled space. They created a beautiful arch as the focal point of our reception and everyone raved about the lanterns, centerpieces and bouquets. They made my wedding day vision a magical reality!
