I cannot recommend Blair with Soco Events highly enough for planning a wedding or frankly any special event. I’d like to think that my wedding was special and that the level of detail and thoughtfulness from Blair was because of the relationship we have built over many years, but that’s just not the case. It is just who she is as a planner and a professional.

I have been lucky enough to have Blair as my own client, doing her, her husbands and now even her daughters hair. It was never a question of who our wedding planner would be but simply what would it look like. When it was time for me to be her client, the ease she gave me and and my now husband throughout the entire process was priceless. She knew exactly which vendors would be best for us and over the course of a year, she brought it all to life. She simplified every step of the process getting to know what we wanted and providing input and ideas along the way. Her knowledge, reputation in industry, and experience allowed her to make recommendations tailored to us with vendors that were appropriate for what she knew we would want. During the day before and day of the event, she handled every detail ensuring schedules were kept, vendors were aligned, and we could enjoy the event without stressing the details.

I have heard Blair talk often about the brides and families she has kept in touch with over the years and to be honest, I didn’t understand it. I now get it. We will forever be connected and she will always be a part of our inner circle. She has given us the best day of our lives and memories that will last for the rest of our lives. I’m not sure I will ever be able to articulate what 6.24.22 means to me but I know it could not have been this special without Blair.

Where to even begin?! My (now) husband and I met Blair in 2019 as we started our wedding planning process and immediately fell in love with her passion for wedding planning, expertise, creativity, professionalism, bubbly personality, and extreme organization. Blair was truly a perfect match for us and we could not have asked for a better wedding planner- she really is amazing at what she does! Blair helped us to work with the best vendors in the DC area (we planned our entire wedding from NYC/FL) and having Blair's incredible network with wedding vendors in the area was beyond helpful! Our original wedding date was unfortunately postponed due to the COVID pandemic and Blair seamlessly worked quickly and efficiently to find a new wedding date that worked for all of our vendors and venue. My husband and I had ZERO stress throughout the wedding planning process and that was because we knew Blair was always one step ahead. We trusted her fully to help plan the wedding of our dreams and she exceeded every expectation. Our wedding was the best day of our lives and we owe so many thanks to Blair and the SOCO team! We can't recommend enough!!

If you are considering a planner don't think twice! It is honestly money well spent and will provide you peace in a very busy time. When my daughter and I look back on the year plus of planning we could not have done without Blair, we love her and were blessed to have worked with her. Her patience, attention to detail, professionalism and knowledge is above and beyond what we expected! This was my first time planning a wedding and she held our hands through the process not missing a step the whole way through!! I am still reeling from what was the most perfect, happiest day of our lives. This is all thanks to Blair and her impressive work. We hired Blair as a partial planner, where she had a few vendor areas she covered as well as all the timeline planning and vendor coordination. I could not have been happier with everything she did for our wedding. Highlights:
- She organized the vendors seamlessly. From my vantage point, everyone arrived on time to unload, had all the right pieces and parts with them, and set up their areas flawlessly. I never heard a word from a single vendor about any issues--so either there were none, or she handled them effortlessly.
- If I needed Blair, she was there. There was never a moment where I thought or asked, "where's Blair??"
- She was my rock when coming up with and executing the ceremony rain plan. The ceremony space looked stunning, and while some things could not be translated with the change in location, everything that mattered was exquisite. Most guests never even realized it was a backup!
- Every recommendation she provided was a hit: the tablecloths, the entertainment, the entire wedding timeline. One thing I especially appreciated was how Blair provided recommendations that added cohesion to the room. Since she was the common thread that knew the decor, the rentals, the favors, etc., she then looked at (for example) what lighting was needed to enhance the space.
- Blair gave it her all. There is no doubt how seriously she takes your job, and it became most apparent at the wedding. In the words of my mom, "Blair put her heart and soul into everything she did." Whether she was rushing to find needle and thread for my groom's popped tuxedo button, or eagle-eyeing the room to make sure everything was as it should be, her dedication was astounding.

Simply PERFECTION. I couldn't possibly have better things to say about working with Jen Stiebel and her truly incredible SoCo team. From start to finish, Jen was unbelievably attentive and organized and blew all of our expectations. Jen was a loyal listener, trusted confidant, and always had our best interest in mind. We thoroughly enjoyed our planning process all because of Jen and could not recommend her more highly! Although we initially set out to find a talented planner to help design our dream wedding, we ended up with a lifelong friend that has an unmatched gift for creating truly magical and stunning visions. Jen and her team are dedicated to making your dreams come true and I cannot possibly imagine our wedding now without having such a visionary by my side.

In addition to her incredible planning and aesthetic taste, Jen also alleviated all wedding stress and worries with her comforting words and warm personality. On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Jen and her team were totally prepared. Every little detail, every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better planner, and am so grateful that we picked Jen to help us throughout our wedding planning (Jen also fully planned our 3 day wedding weekend -six events- for 300 people!)

I would recommend Jen and her team to absolutely anyone. You are in the best hands in the industry with SoCo Events and should feel lucky to have found such a wonderful group of women.

SoCo is the best around! The planners are incredible and so easy to work with. My planner was at my house 3 nights before the wedding making programs and eating dinner with my family- they truly become your right hand person for everything. I can't say enough good things about them. The event was incredible and went so smoothly, and they are so great at handling issues that come up throughout the planning process and make the day go wonderfully! I don't know what I would do without them!

Jen Stiebel was absolutely a pleasure to work with. She helped make our special day a fairytale wedding! Thank you for all of your help and for helping create an absolutely stunning event.

Early in the wedding planning process, I wasn’t sold on hiring a coordinator. Meeting with vendors seemed easy, and my fiancé and I were able to decide on a wonderful venue, photographer, florist, and DJ. However, a couple months into planning, we attended an ENGAGED magazine event. It was at that moment I became overwhelmed by all the small details that add up quickly (both in time and money). Luckily, at the event we met Bridget! In our conversation, we discovered her wedding reception was also at our venue--seemed like perfect fit! And, the SoCo ‘month of planning’ package is reasonably priced compared to other planners. However, ‘month of’ is a loose term because Bridget was super responsive to all my emails and questions in the months leading up to the special day.
Bridget was incredibly helpful with coordinating all the vendors, creating the day-of timeline, designing the favors, packing/delivering the welcome bags, running the rehearsal, and day-of support---wow!! I was so thankful she came with us for our final venue walk-through. She asked questions I didn’t know to ask, and had everything under control. And, the week of the wedding--without her I would have been completely frazzled and stressed. She did all the errands and running around! On our wedding day, if there were any problems or issues, I didn’t know about them. Because of Bridget, we were able to enjoy every moment of our special day. Even my parents (including my father who had very little ‘wedding’ opinions) were completely impressed by her support--truly invaluable. Honestly, I can’t imagine the day without her.

The day I chose SoCo events for my day-of planning, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of my shoulders. Nicole was everything I was looking for in a wedding planner! She was very organized, professional, and excited to be a part of my big day. I knew I would be able to enjoy my wedding day without having to worry about anything.

Two months out from the wedding, I was so grateful to have Nicole. She was very responsive to my emails and she scheduled phone calls and meetings so we could go into more detail with the wedding planning. Nicole was in constant communication with the on-site wedding coordinator as well as my other vendors.

The day of the wedding was surreal and I was able to relax and thoroughly enjoy it because of Nicole. She arrived early with Jen to put together my macaroon wedding favors and they came up to the bridal suite often to check on the bridal party. My parents were very impressed with how great a job she did and how attentive she was to me and my husband at the reception.

The whole day was just magical. I have received so many compliments from guests on how beautiful the wedding was and how much they enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend SoCo events to any bride and groom. My sister has already decided she will be using them for her wedding!
