It was great working with Sally and her team! The food was delicious (many people said the best food they've ever had at a wedding), and Sally and her team worked together with us to put together a custom menu and were really helpful with coordinating additional rentals.

Sally and Smoke & Pickles were a delight to work with in catering our wedding. We met with many caterers in the area, but as soon as we met Sally we knew she understood our vision of a locally-sourced, vegetarian friendly wedding. Sally also helped to connect us to the vendor we ultimately used for our wedding rentals. After the wedding, everyone raved about our food and said that it was some of the best food they'd ever had at a wedding.

From day one, our experience with Smoke & Pickles, and more specifically, with Sally, was nothing but enjoyable. In search of “not your typical wedding fare,” my husband initially suggested we check them out, and after comparing their offerings to several other farm-to-table catering companies in the area, they were the frontrunner by far. As others have commented as well, Sally truly embraces her role and became such an invaluable member of our wedding planning team – we could not have done it without her. The food was fantastic, and many of our guests are still raving about it four months later. Thank you all for bringing such delicacy to our special day!

My wife and I were very fortunate to have Smoke and Pickles cater our wedding day and to have the co-owner and wedding coordinator Sally make sure the big day went smoothly. Let's start with Sally - she was great to work with, professional, flexible, communicative, and... most importantly she saved our wedding day from being ruined by one of our vendors. Our tent company failed to drop off multiple items and made too many mistakes to mention, but Sally used her contacts with other tent vendors to make sure we had everything we needed. Crisis averted! Sally did all of this with a sense of ease and grace, at no point were we overly stressed. She held down the fort amazingly while we enjoyed the day. Now for the food and catering... Wow! Seriously amazing food. Smoke and Pickles make their dishes from fresh and locally sourced produce, cheese, and fish/meat. We had multiple guests comment on how it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. A few examples - we had a cheese and taco bar for the cocktail hour, striped bass for dinner, in season vegetables, and possibly the best strawberry shortcake I've ever had. If Smoke and Pickles had a restaurant, we'd be there! If you're on the fence about using them for your wedding, get off the fence and give Sally a call!

We loved Smoke & Pickles for our magical day in Jamestown-- people are still talking about the food and professionalism that they had. Sally is AMAZING. She is always there to calm you down and to make the day perfect. The passed apps, cheese table and dinner were beyond perfect. We truly, truly can't thank you enough!

We recently used Smoke & Pickles as our wedding caterer and they are absolutely top notch! Simply THE BEST food and service we’ve ever experienced. Everything about their food was perfect from the deliciously pickled appetizers to the main course as well as the smoke grilled preparation and presentation was awe-inspiring.

From the beginning we could tell that Sally Huntington was no ordinary caterer. She went far out to her way to accommodate our budget, took our wishes into account at every turn and made wonderful suggestions on the meal choices. In the end, it was truly all about satisfying us and our gathering of 130 family members and friends, every one of whom are still raving about the food and service a month later.
Having done past events at the location (The Overbrook House near Cape Cod, MA) Sally and her group were able to aid in logistics and even helped with the set up of the chairs for the ceremony and in the reception tent to ensure that the day ran smoothly. Sally is largely responsible for the “success” of the evening. She absolutely knows her stuff and her positive attitude is infectious. Her team was truly wonderful and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We cannot say enough about how much we appreciate having someone like her involved and consider her to be a part of our extended family.
Smoke & Pickles uses only the best, locally-sourced foods and provides the absolute highest possible level of service with true genuine feeling. Top that off with their uncanny ability to make every event feel as unique as the participants and it’s easy to see why we would recommend them to anyone who needs catering for any event! Our friends are STILL talking about the oysters, the bourbon soaked peaches, the roast pig, the whole striped bass, the perfect bread and out of this world cheese, the scallops with corn relish, the incredibly fresh and crunchy vegetables. On top of their food, they offer excellent vendor management (rentals, tent, flowers, etc), and help the whole day run smoothly by people-moving behind the scenes.
