Dave is a 50 plus year veteran in the food service industry boasting a culinary degree from Johnson & Wales University.
Dave has been involved in many aspects of the food service and hospitality world originally starting his journey in the U.S. Army as a mess cook.
Dave quickly began his career out of the military following his culinary education as the Head Chef of the former Candleworks Restaurant in New Bedford, MA (now Carmines at Candleworks). He then opened D&D Caterers in the spring of 1986.
Dave has owned and operated the business since and looks forward to handing over the reins to his son and family someday!
