About
The Commissioned Officers' Club, on Naval Station Newport, overlooks our rocky coastline, the Newport bridge & harbor. The O'Club offers a gorgeous setting, both inside and out, with rooms perfect for an event of any size and an outdoor lawn area for wedding ceremonies.
We are on the Navy Base, you do not have to be in the Navy to have your wedding here! All you need is a sponsor. The sponsor must be an MWR eligible patron; active duty personnel, eligible family member (spouse), retiree, reservist or DoD civilian.
We do offer a discounted Friday night rate, as well as an Active Duty discount!
We are a site rental, requiring full service caterers to be brought in. Please contact us today to receive a list of potential caterers.
Saturday night weddings have access to our entrie AMAZING deck! Our restaurant is closed on Saturdays, giving all of your guests a special evening on the best view of the Newport Bridge.
The Business office is open from 9:00-5:00, Monday ~ Friday. Evening appointments are with advance notice. Please call or email to schedule your appointment to see all that the Officers' Club has to offer you and your guests.

There is nothing finer than to have the privilege to celebrate your wedding day at the Commissioned Officer's Club. Just the history of the War College that is easily visible and the Newport Bridge that sits right at your feet during such an important day is enough to make you feel at ease and excited for the day to arrive! The staff is always attentive and the room is nothing short of perfection. For over 28 years I have photographed at the Officers' Club and each and every time is exceptional!
