This review is specifically for Stacey McKinnon, who was the wedding coordinator for my wedding on October 26, 2013 at McCormick Home Ranch in Camarillo, CA. Stacey mentioned that she recently changed the name of her company from Laced Weddings to SLM Weddings & Events, so check for her company on here if you want to use her services (believe me, YOU DO!!) I was referred to Stacey by my sister, who actually got married in June, 2013 at the same wedding venue I got married at. It was truly a pleasure working with her-- I honestly don't think my wedding would've been the stress free, beautiful affair that it turned out to be. Stacey is a true PROFESSIONAL. She knows exactly what to do, when to do it, how to do it, and has an amazing ability to make you feel at ease, even during the last crazy weeks before the big day. She was a great liaison between me and my vendors, and also had some great contacts-- She introduced me to my florist, Jessica Taylor over at Disregarden (that's a whole 'nother 5 star rating-- she was beyond amazing too!!). One of my vendors was just plain scatterbrained, and left out $1,200 on all of her proposals EXCEPT the final contract 2 weeks before the wedding! I nearly had a heart attack realizing I had that added expense because I had already gone over my budget, but Stacey looked over every single detail of all my contracts and found things that we could cut out in order to save money, but not sacrifice the vision that I had. She was a real LIFESAVER, for my sanity and my bank account! That's the other thing that makes her so amazing-- she has a background in catering, while most other planners have a background in design. She can read between the lines of your contracts and understands all of the fancy terms that they throw at you in order to fluff up their prices. She's contract saavy, was able to handle everything with ease on the big day, and created a thorough timeline to ensure everything was done- PERFECT!!! Thank you so much Stacey!!

Stacey was so fun to work with! She has an extensive background in catering, and was able to provide so much insight because of her experience. She was very sweet and professional, and I felt so confident and at peace knowing she was my coordinator! The wedding was absolutely perfect, everything happened right on time, and I was able to fully enjoy the day knowing that she was behind the scenes, making sure everything was happening. I would absolutely recommend LacedWeddings to any and all brides.
