We hired Slava for our wedding and pre-wedding/engagement photos based on the great yelp reviews. We can confirm everything that has been written so far. Slava was very responsive, clear, knowledgeable, patient and respectful. We had a 2 hour 'engagment' photo shoot the day before the wedding. Slava suggested several locations around San Francisco and we started at Alamo square near the painted ladies. We got some great photos there, but it was rather windy so Slava offered to use some of our time to shoot near the Palace of fine arts instead, before heading to our final location near the golden gate bridge. Slava has a lot of personal experience with wedding photography and comes from a family of photographers and he knew what positions would work well and which one would not. Salva shoots with canon cameras and lenses and being a professional Slava quickly found and dialed in the correct shutter speed to get perfectly exposed photos every single time. This speed allowed us to get many different types of shots done in a short amount of time. Before the wedding he made sure to inquire what we were looking for photography wise, and this ensured that he got all the types of photos we wanted from the wedding; portraits, candid shots, staged shots etc. At the wedding, which lasted 4 hours, he was assisted by a second photographer carrying a camera with a wide angle lens, who himself was also very professional and respectful. Slava's prices were very reasonable and competitive and he is very customer friendly with regard to copyrights to the photos. All the photos were quickly processed and easily accessible and downloadable through dropbox. The size and quality of the photos allow you to create big prints to hang in your home. In the end the photos are what counts, and we are extremely satisfied with the end result and these photos perfectly captured a very special day in our lives allowing us to relive these moments forever.
