SIR Concepts came to the rescue when the original planner I had hired ghosted me. Jakeema was so organized. Each meeting included a checklist of things for me to get done. I couldn't be more thankful for her help. Luckily SIR Concepts and our venue, Cottontail Weddings and Events, are owned by the same person so the transition from planning to wedding day was seamless. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!!

Prior to the wedding, they were very flexible with scheduling our pre wedding planning sessions, which was helpful because we were only available in the evenings and we lived in a different state so we needed to use Zoom. They also ensured we had an opportunity to tour the venue with them before the big day, which helped us make sure everyone was on the same page going into the wedding.

Day of, they were so helpful at keeping us in the loop with enough info so we could make decisions about the night (without too much info to overwhelm us), and they helped keep us on our schedule while also adapting to inevitable changes as the day evolved. Despite a major snafu from our caterer, SIR Concepts kept us calm and collected, and made sure we had a fantastic time.

Prior to our wedding, we weren't sure if we wanted to hire a wedding coordinator, given how expensive weddings can already be. However, SIR Concepts was truly worth every penny! If we were to have another big event, they would be the first people we would hire. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Working with SIR concepts was a seamless experience - absolutely nothing went wrong on the big day! Sharif and the team were instrumental in selecting our venue, Overlook Barn- which we absolutely loved. We enjoyed working with Sharif as an officiant, his ceremony was personal and meaningful. We would like to give a special shout out to Jakeema for all her support, from picking vendors, calls to be prepared and of course the day-of coordination. We are not as detail-oriented, so we appreciated that she is. Another great benefit was use of their candles and ceremony arch. The arch was absolutely perfect. Honestly we can't imagine the day going more perfectly. if you're on the fence, this is your sign to hire SIR Concepts as your wedding planner. When my daughter got engaged, she gave me little guidance about what her dream wedding was, so I planned all of the decor. I had it planned out but needed help “executing” it all on the wedding day. She got married at Cottontail Wedding in Danville, VA. The owner Sharif suggested that I contact his partner, Jakeema Dawkins, with Sir Concepts. We discussed my needs and she gave me an awesome custom quote for exactly the help that I needed. She picked up all of my planned decor 2 weeks before the wedding. On wedding day, I thought she and her team would be setting up as we arrived. We walked in the door and it was all done! I could not have been more pleased. She executed the plan perfectly!!! It made my day stress free! I got to enjoy the time with my daughter without having to decorate! I enjoyed the day more than I ever imagined I would be able to!! I cannot say enough nice things about Cottontail AND Sir Concepts! Jakeema was my hero!! With little guidance from my daughter, I was worried the day wouldn’t match her dream. At the end of the night she said, “It was perfect, everything about it was perfect. It was the best night of my life!” That is the best compliment I could ask for. We planned our wedding in a very short time-just 5 months and everything was lovely in spite of this. Jakeema was a joy to work with.
