Mostly pros

My now-husband and I just got married here. All in all we had a positive experience, and many of our wedding guests said it was one of the best weddings they'd ever attended.

The pros:
-The setting. If you want to get married in the middle of a National Park, but not force your guests to camp, this is the best option. Our guests were pleased with their rooms and the views were spectacular.
-The food was surprisingly good! We were a bit worried that a place with a food monopoly would slack on quality, but our guests also raved about the food.
-Having the hotel rooms, ceremony, and reception space all within a few minutes' walking distance is a huge perk for a wedding venue.
-The coordinator staff responded to my MANY questions in a timely manner.

The cons:
-There were times where one person on the venue staff would tell me one thing but someone else would tell me the opposite. Luckily I had emails to back it up, so make sure you get everything in writing.
-Despite the fact that we paid thousands of dollars for an open bar, we ran out of liquor and wine before the end of the night. The bar also didn't have tonic water (?!) or soda water stocked, but luckily they got some soda water when my husband told the bartender that he and I both drink bourbon and soda.
-The 9:30 cutoff time is kind of a bummer - our guests were ready to keep partying all night - but I understand why it is enforced. The 10:30 cutoff time for the bonfire was also STRICTLY enforced - my husband had to basically hold the staff back from putting it out at 10:25, buying us the five final minutes. (This one doesn't affect my review because it just comes with the territory; it's just something to be aware of when booking.)

All in all, yes, we would absolutely have our wedding here again. Although some of the cons added to wedding planning stress, the pros definitely outweighed the cons.
