Everything about our wedding was perfect. From the weather to the vendors. This was the perfect venue for us. Brenda and Lenwood are the sweetest couple and so helpful. They keep a list of recommended vendors which made planning my wedding in 6 months so much easier and less stressful. Highly recommend. It’s a beautiful area with amazing cabins close by. Brenwood is a stunning venue and the owners, Brenda and Lynwood were so amazing to work with. We loved that they offered a weekend-long package as it really minimized stress and in terms of planning, they were very responsive for us to schedule additional tours and walk-throughs of the space leading up to our big day. The venue is GORGEOUS!!! We loved the ceremony site in the woods and that they had a fire pit for our guests to roast marshmallows at. Our wedding was National Parks themed, and the rustic, mountain cabin in the woods vibe of Brenwood Lake captured the aesthetic perfectly. There are also cabins on the property that you can rent, which we had our families and wedding party stay in so they were within walking distance to all the action. This wedding venue is so perfect, fit our 125 guests with plenty of space for a dance floor, and we couldn't have been happier with it!

My husband Thomas and I had the pleasure of getting to experience our wedding at Brenwood Lake Weddings. The immense friendliness of Brenda and her husband Linwood was beyond what you could ever expect. They always made sure if you needed anything or help or accommodations that it was done and smooth moving. Kindness from them made everything feel even more special then it already was. Brenda was so sweet that she helped make sure my veil and train of the dress was perfect before walking out and down the aisle. I would recommend that everyone use Brenwood Lake Weddings for their special day!

Brenwood Lake Weddings is an amazing venue in the heart of Shenandoah Valley. We wanted a fall wedding and decided do it in Shenandoah Valley. As an out of state bride, I booked the venue even before I had a chance to visit. When I finally visited, I was so very happy that I chose Brenwood Lake Weddings. It was more beautiful than I had imagined.



As great as the venue is, what’s better are the hosts, Brenda and Lynwood. Not only are they helpful and accommodating, they are also very fun and friendly. We had a great time working with them.



What I loved the most about the venue was that there are two ceremony locations. It was perfect for us since we had our Indian ceremony by the gazebo one day and American ceremony in the woods the next day. The venue is surrounded by trees and looked amazing with all the fall colors. We got lucky with the weather as it rained most of the weekend expect when we had our ceremony. Our rain plan was to do the ceremony in the reception hall, which is bigger than it seems in the picture. The reception hall is well constructed and maintained. The kitchen is very spacious and well designed. 



Brenwood also offers a cabin rental at the property. My family stayed at the Lakewood Cabin across the lake, which was super nice and made things very convenient. The venue is excellent and we had a very memorable and fun wedding weekend. I would highly recommend Brenwood Lake Weddings.

We got married here in July and couldn't have had a better wedding. The venue owners, Brenda and Lynwood, were incredibly kind and flexible, and made sure we had everything we needed. The property is stunning, and it's purpose-built for weddings, which made it so easy for the caterers and other vendors to get in an out. It's a very flexible space, too, with options on where to get married and how to host the reception. Brenda was so kind and responsive whenever we had questions and was very accommodating of a few special needs for us. We'd recommend this venue to anyone!

Brenwood Lake Weddings is a stunning small wedding venue beside its namesake lake nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in little Stanley, Virginia. We happened upon it by chance early in 2020 just after we had announced our engagement, and we could not have been happier with our experience.

My now-wife and I booked Brenwood Lake Weddings February 2020 right before the COVID-19 pandemic began with the intention of holding our event the following year on June 21st. During the course of the last year and a half, Brenda and Lynwood maintained a constant and open line of communication regarding what is changing and what was staying the same with our big day. We were lucky that COVID restrictions were largely lifted come our wedding day.

Brenda and Lynwood, as mentioned before, were so helpful in making sure our wedding day went as planned or as darn near close to what we had initially planned if COVID had stayed as bad as it had been. Their many years of experience in the business helped provide some of the groundwork for our planning and preparation. Our day could not have been successful without the two of them; my wife wanted to get to the venue the evening before to get the decorations and place settings placed and prepared in the reception hall, and Brenda was kind enough to leave the hall unlocked for us, and tables left in the arrangement from the evening before as they were very similar to our arrangement, and even came down to the hall to check in and make sure we had what we needed, and made sure Lynwood and her were prepared with the knowledge they needed for our wedding the next day. Full disclosure: had a wedding taken place that day, we would not have been able to do early placement that evening, so this should not be taken as the norm. Additionally, we planned and placed nearly all the decorations (save for what had already been up from the previous evening that we could use, or was already permanently in place); this should be the job of a wedding planner, and/or the wedding party and all associated individuals, NOT the proprietors of the venue unless explicitly noted they have someone specializing in such (looking at you, Mrs. 3.8 stars).

The day of our wedding was absolutely magical, and Brenda and Lynwood were two cogs in a pretty well-greased machine. Lynwood helped park vehicles, and Brenda was on standby for any help needed throughout the evening. It’s clear the two know their craft and put the time and work to make sure things are right and go smoothly.

The two were all ears, and very sensitive to our, and our guests’, needs. Also, we had gotten the venue for the day for a heck of a deal (our day being on a Monday, and the venue still being fairly young). We could not have higher praise for this venue. We are thoroughly happy with our experience, and with Brenda and Lynwood for their guidance and assistance up to and through our wedding. 5 extra golden stars for the venue and the kindness and generosity of the Moyers.

We just got married here this past weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We stayed in the cabin across the lake with the wedding party and that was one of the best parts, being so accessible to everything! We ended up renting a clear top tent to put over the patio and had the dance floor outside and everyone loved it! This was one of the first weddings all our guests attended with covid restrictions lifted and it was wonderful to be able to still space out all over the property! Friday night we had our rehearsal dinner at the pavilion on the picnic benches which was so easy and fun! They provided cornhole boards we set up there as well. We had our ceremony at 5pm that Saturday and the ceremony site in the woods was shaded at that point so all our guests were not sitting in the hot sun. We had cocktail hour on the patio and the grass, people were able to hang out around the fire pit, pavilion, by the lake and the 2 bars on the patio. Lots of room! The bathrooms, kitchen, and bridal/groom suites were very well kept and clean and perfect for what we needed. The owners Brenda and Lynwood were on top of everything and helping make this weekend perfect. They met with the tent rental company for a site visit the Thursday before to coordinate and would always be available if we wanted to a do a drop by to get measurements or had any questions. Luray is such a beautiful area, no one could stop talking about all the views as well! Overall we received nothing but positive comments and compliments about our choice of venue, 10/10 would do it all over again there!

The most beautiful log cabin/lake wedding venue owned by the nicest couple you'll ever met! The property has two options for an outdoor ceremony, an indoor reception area that has its own gorgeous decorations including a tulle/light fixture on the ceiling and a romantic fire place. Not to mention the adorable Bride & Groom getting ready rooms! Outside the reception is the perfect area for a cocktail hour, and you'll have the most amazing view of Brenwood Lake. The owners Brenda and Lynwood were so very kind and accommodating, and their prices are INCREDIBLE. My husband and I booked the weekend package for our wedding and we got to have our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner right there on the venue property! We also booked their cabins for our parents and the wedding party and it was such a fun experience for everyone. 10/10 the best decision my husband and I made when planning our wedding was choosing Brenwood. You will not be disappointed!!!
