About Sharon Albritton Wedding Minister
An Ordained Minister since 1993.
What I love the most about Weddings, is the coming together of individuals, holding that space of time, and perfect love. That look in the Bride and Grooms face, where their eyes say it all.

Non-Denominational Private Minister Brings Individual Touch to Weddings
“Life is a journey and love is the destination,” says Sharon Albritton.
And she should know, having officiated hundreds of weddings where a vow of love is the most important milestone in a couple’s travel through life.
Albritton is not affiliated with any church, or any religion. She has been an Ordained Minister in Santa Rosa since 1993, and a non-denominational wedding Officiate since 1996.
It can be surprising to many couples heading to the altar that they actually don’t need an alter for a legal wedding, or a priest, rabbi, or the often institutional alternative of a Justice of the Peace.
Working with a private Minister offers great flexibility for an independent minded couple. Albritton notes that she has performed services at wineries, golf courses, beaches, parks, clubhouses, private backyards, and yes, also in churches.
One of the benefits to working with a private minister is that professionals like Albritton can help with many extra details. Custom vows are in high demand and Albritton has become an expert in capturing just the right words.
“I had so much fun compiling my first set of wedding vows,” she recalls. “I was at the County Library, sitting at a desk with eight books opened up around me, all about wedding ceremonies. I photocopied portions of them, took them home and began compiling a complete set of vows. And since that time, they have changed and grown, as I have changed.”
Every wedding couple is offered a complimentary consultation to help determine what best illustrates their relationship.
“I will coordinate with them what they would like their wedding vows to express to each other, and to those they will be sharing their ?ceremony with,” Albritton says. “Vows that are about them and what ?they bring to their relationship.”
For a church wedding hosted by as private Minister, couples first need to get clearance from that Ministry. But then, they should remember that it is their wedding, and not necessarily defined by the church.
“Create the ceremony with your values in mind,” Albritton says. “Don’t be afraid to let your heart open up and show what’s inside. Let it reflect you, your relationship and your belief system.”
