We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant for our wedding day! James was so warm and inviting, and was always responsive whenever we had questions. From the beginning, he took the time to get to know us as a couple. He shared stories with us, listened to ours, and incorporated personal details we shared into the ceremony. One of the things that meant a lot to us was that he took the time to include a Japanese quote he found to match the day, it was such a thoughtful and personal touch, and it showed how much care he put into making our ceremony ours.

James clearly loves what he does, and that comes through in his delivery. He brought warmth, humor, and genuine emotion to the ceremony while creating the intimate and heartfelt atmosphere we wanted. You can’t go wrong with James—he is genuine and wonderful at what he does. We’re so grateful he was part of our special day!

James did a perfect job and made the process so easy and smooth for us!! He made the ceremony the perfect length and listened to all of our requests!! Would highly recommend

“James is the best!” Is what my amazing photographer said after I told her who would be performing our ceremony. I couldn’t agree more! If you are lucky enough to have James be your wedding officiant, you have gotten SO LUCKY! He made both my husband and me feel so comfortable and relaxed on our big day. We spoke earlier and he put together a very personal, beautiful and thoughtful ceremony. His delivery was spot on! He enunciated well above the sound of the ocean waves and we couldn’t have imagined a better ceremony. I especially love that he gave us a keepsake book with the ceremony inside, so that after all the chaos settled, we could revisit the beautiful words that were spoken.

Our experience with James was amazing! From the very beginning, his communication was thoughtful, helpful, and reassuring. He guided us through the marriage license process and gave us wonderful insight into how to approach writing our vows to one another.

Songs speak to us, my husband and I, Lionel Richie song as title. When I think of James there are many ways to describe him. However, none of them do James justice. He has a calming, classic, smooth presence. Everyone that attended our wedding commented on how easy James was to listen to and they wanted to hear what he had to say. We were able to work with James on our ceremony and it was beautiful. Words are just words on a paper but to hear James say the words we chose felt easy, effortless, calming, and filled with care.

James was everything we hoped for and more. He took the time to get to know us and helped create a ceremony that felt so personal, heartfelt, and full of love. His calm, kind presence made the day even more special, and his words touched everyone there. We’re so grateful for the care and warmth he brought to our wedding — it was absolutely beautiful.

We LOVED working with James, he made everything so personal and was easy and kind to work with. Our ceremony was so emotional and you could truly feel the love and a huge piece of that was because we had James officiating. 10/10 would recommend him to ANYONE!

In our early contact with James, he was very personable and put us at ease. The day of the ceremony was even better. We chatted a bit ahead of time, and the ceremony itself went flawlessly. (I was going to say it went off without a hitch, but....)
