We came from Ireland and England to marry in Mendocino on the bluff x I had been before because of murder she wrote x It was so romantic and beautiful 😍 I couldn’t have wanted more x James is amazing person and was very caring towards us in all ways x we had Nick the photographer also Brillant x all the best to you new couples x 💘 We had a no stress run up and no stress on the day and after was a beautiful feeling of calm and nature very similar to the setting x -

Songs speak to us, my husband and I, Lionel Richie song as title. When I think of James there are many ways to describe him. However, none of them do James justice. He has a calming, classic, smooth presence. Everyone that attended our wedding commented on how easy James was to listen to and they wanted to hear what he had to say. We were able to work with James on our ceremony and it was beautiful. Words are just words on a paper but to hear James say the words we chose felt easy, effortless, calming, and filled with care. -

James comes highly recommended in the Mendocino area, and there's a good reason for it. We exchanged many emails in the months leading to the wedding to craft the details of the ceremony. James created a beautiful text, very personal. On the day of, his warmth was exactly what we needed to calm the nerves. His warm voice and genuine kindness made the moment feel magical. Our guests loved the ceremony and said it was very moving.

Truly… if you don’t hire James then you’re crazy! He’s the best, most thoughtful officiant. The whole room was crying from his words (and singing!). He spent so much time getting to know us and it was a personal experience the whole thing! -

James was the absolute perfect officiant for us. He takes genuine joy in officiating and it shows. He even gave us a pamphlet of the vows we had chosen! Total professional. We were fortunate he graciously agreed to travel a couple hours for our wedding in Napa Valley for a travel fee and it was so worth it! He’s very laid back and radiates good energy. The perfect vibe for pronouncing your love. :) -

James is a true professional who so genuinely enjoys his work. James was recommended to us by our venue and we are so glad he was part of our elopement. He made the ceremony so special. He was communicative throughout the process and even provided instruction on getting a marriage license in California since we were coming from out of state. We can't recommend him enough! -

James officiated our elopement and we have never felt more thrilled, lucky and happy, that James was the one to perform our ceremony. I hope this helps you decide your officiant. The care that James puts into his decision to get to know you is what made this experience over the top. He also calmed our nerves! My wife and I eloped with nobody but James and our photographer and he was the perfect person to have by our side to calm our nerves, instill faith, and truly personalize our experience. He personalized the experience for us. He gave us a great deal of advice. He made our personal experience so much better. -

My wedding day would not have been possible without James Sibbett. I am eternally grateful the stars aligned to have him officiate my marriage. From the very beginning James helped guide us along to construct a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony that was tailored to myself and my fiancé, now husband. This was so helpful, because I didn't really know where to start. I had some vauge idea of what I wanted and didn't want, and aftera few emails and phone calls he composed, I think, the perfect ceremony for us. Thank you James! Just over the phone I felt I liked and could trust this man whom I had never met with my most intimate thoughts of my religious beliefs as well as what my marriage means to me. Our wedding was minimal, an elopement. And yet it was done with the upmost care. As James spoke the words of our ceremony, I felt an immense calm descend upon me, up until then I was actually kind of nervous. His voice was soothing and he spoke each word with such care. I don't exactly remember what was said, but I don't have to, because he thoughtfully printed out a keepsake copy of the ceremony, which I am sure I will treasure and look over for years and years to come. Three things I. think prove James Sibbett is the ideal officiant:- He was willing to wander the forest with us quite a while until we found the perfect spot and then proceed to help us clear it so we had a nice place to stand. -When he saw my groom was not wearing a jacket, he also removed his, to be in the same spirit or just not to outdress the groom, I am not sure, but it was so thoughtful. (Must say James looks very sharp in his three piece suit) -Suggested a Winnie the Pooh poem to open the ceremony.
What a wonderful man! I cannot recommend James highly enough. I wish we could get married again and again and have James Sibett officiate each one. Thank you James for creating and performing such a beautiful ceremony.
My groom/husband also really liked James. In German we have a word that does not really translate well, more than friendly, but also warm. Anyhow, the word that comes to mind about James is he is deeply sympathisch. -

He was a pleasure to work with throughout the process, initially having a call to learn more about us and what we were looking for, then providing a beautiful suggested ceremony which he allowed us to amend and personalize.
