My husband and I had already been legally married in a civil ceremony, but we wanted something more personal and meaningful for our wedding celebration. Finding Molly was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

From the very beginning, Molly took the time to get to know us. She asked thoughtful questions, listened carefully, and crafted a ceremony that felt deeply personal and authentic. It honestly felt like one of our closest friends was officiating our wedding.

Our experience with Molly was wonderful from our first consultation to the ceremony to her submitting our wedding license. We came from across the country to get married at San Francisco City Hall. Molly was so amazing. To me, the task of finding an officiant was really daunting. It's so central to your ceremony and the overall experience. My husband and I were extremely pleased with Molly’s work and professionalism. We were initially a bit hesitant at the idea of hiring an officiant due to concerns things may be awkward or impersonal. However we did not have any friends or family we felt comfortable asking to officiate our wedding for us. We wanted our loved ones to enjoy the day stress free which meant we needed to find someone to do the job.  My husband found Molly by chance. In our initial meeting we realized my husband’s sister had actually attended a wedding officiated by Molly the year prior at our exact venue. This connection was a fun way to start off the conversation. When we spoke to my husband’s sister she remembered how personalized the ceremony had been and was under the belief Molly had been a friend of the couple. Molly was approachable, kind, and genuine in her interactions with us. Her process included having us individually complete a couples questionnaire to allow us to reflect on our relationship story, values, and hopes for the future to allow her to get to know us a bit better. Molly was able to weave our questionnaires together to create a touching, humorous, and completely personalize script to capture our many years together. The script was finalized after several review sessions and Molly was totally open to feedback we had around modifying certain parts of the script. We were so excited for our guests to get to experience our ceremony. The wedding day was absolutely perfect and we received many compliments on how sweet and personable our ceremony was. Molly was prepared and professional throughout the process working with her. In the end, Molly really did feel like a friend! We had several guests express surprise that we had hired Molly as they assumed she as a family member or friend given how well she knew us. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone considering working with her. 

We cannot say enough great things about working with Molly. We planned the elopement in less than a month and Molly was willing to work with us on a very condensed timeline. She was personable and kind and met with us virtually prior to the ceremony to walk us through specifics, which was so appreciated. 

She went above and beyond and even made a personalized breaking glass so we had something pretty to use for a project we intended to complete following the ceremony.

Most importantly, Molly’s words during our ceremony moved us to tears. She shared the draft prior to the ceremony, and my husband and I were blown away. We had zero edits and felt as if Molly has known us a lifetime. It was personal, heartfelt, sincere, with humor sprinkled throughout. She touched on everything important to us. She made us feel at ease and like she was one of our friends standing up sharing our story right alongside us.

We truly could not have imagined our day with anyone else by our side. A million thanks for making our day so special and meaningful.

As a non religious couple, we were nervous on finding an officiant that felt our speed. We truly wanted one of our best friends to officiate but did not want to put the pressure on anyone but also how do you even begin to pick? (We didn't even have a bridal/groom party because again we did not want to pressure our friends with the cost or rank them by choosing a maid of honor / best man)

We were looking for someone who fit into our personalities and understood this wedding was not going to be stiff and formal. When I came across Molly - I was so intrigued! We met with her over zoom and it felt right, so we booked! We even added on emcee services since we weren't sure what direction we were headed with on the DJ.

I'll admit when it came to paying all the final deposits before the wedding day we thought... yikes.. did we really spend $2k for an officiant/emcee? But after the night was over and we had time to reflect, we'd do it again in a heartbeat! From the care and prep Molly does before the wedding to get to know you, to fully understanding we were not going to have our officiant read off an ipad, to the day of officiating and emceeing - she really allowed us to fully relax and know she had it all taken care of... I did not stress during the wedding ONCE (I feel like that says a lot as the bride). Even all of our guests asked us how we knew her... they really thought she was one of our best friends!

Molly was an excellent officiant and an all-around joy to work with! She made it easy to design a ceremony that felt true to our relationship and included all the right details. Her script captured us so perfectly that our guests asked us if we wrote it ourselves. And if you're getting married at SF City Hall, there's truly no one better prepared for the space than Molly.
