I knew I didn't want to spend a ton on a wedding dress so I decided to check out resale/consignment dresses and I don't regret it! Second Summer Bride was the first place I went to and only tried on 3 dresses before I found the one! Since it is a resale/consignment store, there aren't a variety of sizes so I did end up spending more on tailoring than on the dress but I don't regret it! Overall, I still saved more than I would've if I bought a new dress.

I absolutely loved my time shopping for my wedding dress here! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! I have to give a shoutout to Katelyn! She was SO caring, thoughtful, and actually listened to my suggestions which resulted in finding my perfect dress! I had a terrible experience at a different place and coming here to Second Summer Bride made me feel so special and exactly what I wanted my wedding dress shopping experience to be! Second summer bride is a bridal consignment shop but 90% of their gowns are completely unused from their sister shop! I tried on about 10 gowns and none of them had been used, but were marked down because they were from the previous season. ALL of the dresses I tried on were under 1K. They do have more expensive gowns but that was my budget and it was SO easy to stick to it. All of my friends that came with me said they are going here to get their dresses when they get married. Tons of options of beautiful designer gowns!

I purchased a veil at Second Summer the week before my wedding in November 2019. The sales associates were attentive and kind as I had forgotten about getting a veil and was a little frazzled. They have a decent variety of quality veils ready to pick up same day. I ended up purchasing the same veil that I tried on at Blush Bridal (where I got my wedding dress).

I had a great experience with Second Summer Bride. The woman who helped me paid close attention to my style preferences. After trying on five or so dresses, she pulled something off the rack "just to see" and it ended up being the perfect dress. I returned to the store later in the year in search of a hair comb and again, the staff found exactly what I needed after I had searched through all of the accessories on my own. I found the environment there to be relaxed and easy. They have a wonderful selection in a wide range of prices.

I bought two dresses from Second Summer Bridal in February for my September wedding. One was a secondhand dress that they had in the store, so I got to take it home with me that day. The dress was a gorgeous ballgown with a beaded bodice. It like many of their secondhand dresses was actually a sample gown at another boutique before coming to Second Summer. My second dress was a made to order from their sister boutique, Blush Bridal Lounge. The dress was ordered and came in by the end of June, which gave me plenty of time to get alterations done.

The appointment was fantastic! I was able to try on about 10 dresses in the hour and a half to two-hour timeframe and I had plenty of time to discuss the options with my bridal party. The staff made the appointment so much fun and I was so glad that there was a place in Austin where I could have the bridal appointment experience while buying a secondhand dress.

I went here and got the most beautiful dress ever. Everyone was super personable and complimenting. I found the most unexpected dress and for an amazing price. Anyone I know getting married I refer them here!

First of all, I loved the staff at Second Summer Bride. They were very casual, friendly and helpful. But their selection of dresses is wonderful and their business model is perfect (in my opinion). a) you get to wear a dress that otherwise might have gone to waste since they sell extra dresses from designers and b) the dresses are very affordable. If you don't have 5K to spend on a dress or you just don't want to spend too much on the dress (I sure didn't) then this is the perfect place.

I had a great experience at Second Summer, and while I didn't find THE dress, the selection was extensive and the entire staff was welcoming and super helpful. I found several options that I highly considered for my big day. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends.

This was my third visit to a bridal salon and it couldn't have better! Sara was so sweet and patient, and she answered so many of my questions. The dressing rooms are large and so is the area for your guests to sit when you step out to showcase your dress. I came here hoping I'd get lucky and I did. I tried on six dresses and ended up saying yes to the first dress I tried on! I absolutely recommend Sara for how attentive and kind she was during my whole visit.
